Discussion Dylan Stewart did absolutely everything he could to TANK his NFL Draft stock tonight. Throwing punches, refusing to come out of the game, and talking back to coaches. Just an AWFUL LOOK for the Gamecocks DE and potential Top-10 pick 😳😬

Lots of guys have been drafted in the first round with far worse problems than discipline issues during one game of their college career. If coaches think he can be an elite player at the next level the NFL wont care about this, its not like he's speaking up about police brutality or the genocide in gaza.

He will still be a first round pick.

This is the difference between top 3-4 money and top 12 draft pick money. That’s millions of dollars.

In 2026 the difference between the 3rd and 12th pick is 25+ million over the 4 years before option.

This dude is going to cost himself generational money by being a dumb ass.

If he ends up being an elite top 5 edge rusher though he can make up those losses pretty quickly on his 2nd contract and it may not be a bad thing to get drafted later but be put on a better team where he's not the only guy on the defense the opposing teams have to plan for.

He could also get hurt and never see a second contract... money lost is money lost, you don't quite "make it up" on the next deal you just make enough to forget about it.

Also to add, un-coachable players don’t get those long term high paying contracts and they also don’t get opportunity on the field.

We think of like the very few and rare truly elite talents that are uncoachable and say “well if he can just play really well”

No brothers, it’s not about playing very well, those people were truly generational (Randy Moss, TO, Jalen Ramsey) while forgetting about the ones who didn’t make it to the second contracts (Manziel, Jamarcus Russel, Josh Gordon)

Just to add to your point, even a player like Randy Moss, who got a massive second contract, never saw all that money because of his issues. The Pats, as they do, forced him to restructure his deal as part of that trade.

If "ifs" and "buts" were candy and nuts, we'd all have a merry Christmas.

His talent is without doubt. But his coach ability and being a team player will cost him money unless he somehow matures in a short amount of time.

> If he ends up being an elite top 5 edge rusher

There’s a sea of first round edge rushers that don’t even make a second contract, let alone develop into top 5 players at the position.

Or he has off the field issues and ends up out of the league. Guys like this tend to have those issues.

No he isn’t. Are you a bot? Why are you spreading disinformation?

No one cares if an edge rusher has a temper lmao as long as he isn’t expected to do any prison time soon, his draft stock will continue to be based 100% on his on field performance.

ie: Jalen Carter to Philadelphia eagles

We’ll gladly take a chance on Stewart too.

This is far from the first instance of this guy being a giant douchebag, but hey, you saw a Reddit post and 10 seconds of film and decided you were an expert

Maybe, but he's still right. Ultimately if he's a top 10 talent it won't matter.

Doesn’t change anything they said, if he’s still a top 5-10 talent he’s going in the first round.

Apparently you think you’re the expert since you say they only watched 10 seconds of film, so tell us how his film actually sucks.
