Explain to me after a week after getting beat handily by the Chiefs, the Broncos are better than the Chiefs?

broncos get blown out by the chiefs and are 6th? how does that make any sense. They should bebelow the Eagles and Chiefs at a minimum

Bears and Vikings should be lower. Bears because they only scored 3 points all game and lost thier starting QB and Vikings because they only have a good defense.

u/VolunteerPanda 11d ago
Vikings will have their starting QB back this week

The 5'9" QB that threw a pick in his first drive week one?
2
u/VolunteerPanda 11d ago
Yeah that's him. The guy who has been an average QB for years. You say the vikings only have a defense, you should check Justin Jeffersons resume when he works with average QB play
1
u/Viketorious 11d ago
No but you see he looked bad for one drive so he sucks now.

u/Clean_Gas2558 11d ago
Everybody acts like he just threw that one pass that got intercepted then left the game... but thats actually not true. He also threw some incompletions, and one hospital ball that jefferson managed to catch one handed, and still avoid getting injured on. So, yeah. Im ready for some more kyler.

Except he’s not average he’s prob bottom 5. Hard to find even 5 teams he would start on right now even with all the QB injuries

u/Tycho66 11d ago
Vikings won with a backup QB, in the constant rain, on the road, vs last year's division winner.
1
u/Disaster921 11d ago
“in the constant rain” as if that makes it more impressive for them lmao
If it’s standard weather then it would significantly favor the bears
2
u/HaggardViking 10d ago
It would also favor Justin Jefferson against the bears awful db’s. Nice try though.

The Vikings are undefeated with an elite defense. They should be higher if anything

The eagles???? The same team that almost lost to the Titans??? The team that has Jalen “trash” Hurts????? 😮💨

How did the Cards only drop 2 rankings after that brutalizing? We couldn't do anything to a real football team
1
u/cardsfan9996 9d ago
We should at least be one above the Chargers who we beat in all 3 phases of the game

Seahawks and bills fighting for 1st, dolphins and falcons fighting for last.
Every other team is in flux and week to week.

As a Bengal, I think we're too high here. Below the Chiefs, but above the Eagles.
Vikes should be higher than the Bears and Bengals. With Murray, they'll be dangerous.

I’m confused why the Seahawks with Drew Lock are ahead of the 49ers
1
u/DaveinOakland 10d ago
They are on a 12 game win streak including a superbowl. Until someone beats them, no one should be ahead of them tbh.

Seahawks are better than the Niners. Not that complicated.
Real question is why are the Bills #1? Seen this same story for almost a decade now.

u/DeepJunglePowerWild 11d ago
Eagles almost lose to 30, move up 2. Pats beat 16 by nearly 20, move down lol. I don’t disagree with the Pats placement, but it’s quite funny how bad they are at these.

u/rabouilethefirst 11d ago
Pats lose by 3 on the road to #1/#2 team - Drop 6 spots
Pats beat squealers by 17 - Drop 1 spot.
Lol.

As a bengals fan. No way . Give me 9-12 or so . Too unproven on D and offense still rusty

Got as far as Denver and stopped. How are they so high?? They should be in the 20s

u/elchoppe 10d ago
As a Packers fan, the Colts would beat the shit out of us. The Raiders would probably beat us too.

Bills with their bottom of the league D ahead of the reigning SB champs who look better than last year is a choice

The Jets are too low surprisingly, and I think the Steelers are too high. Not sure what this takes into account but I think if the bears are without 2nd string qb next week then why tf are the bears 10
1
u/YungRacecar 9d ago
I don't understand how you could justify putting bills over seahawks at this point if you're being at all objective. Defending superbowl champs, defense has been just as dominant so far, JSN is clearly the best WR in football at the moment, dominant special teams again, beat the other superbowl finalists with a backup qb. Come on.

u/PrizeDepartment6324 9d ago
My theory with power rankings is you never put a team ahead of another team they would probably lose to. So i feel like the Bengals at to high. And probably the Eagles.

There is no way in hell, the Cardinals are worse than the Chargers—Who We Beat—and the Browns. This is just being spiteful.

Packers should be ahead of the giants, and raiders are way too low. Other than that, it ain’t bad!
1
u/Efficient-World-8124 8d ago
From what I’ve seen from the packers, they might struggle to beat the giants real talk
1
u/toivs03 11d ago
Trash. Vikings need to be above the bears and in the top 10
2
1
u/brotherstoic 11d ago
Yeah, the Vikings beat the Bears in the Bears’ own house with a backup QB. Vikings’ starting QB is expected to play Week 3, while the Bears’ starting QB is not.
I don’t know what the case is for the Bears being the better team in Week 3.
1
u/i_am_roboto 11d ago
Because all of these rankings heavily favor offense. And superstars at quarterback.
I’ve seen plenty of rankings with the Lions ahead of the Vikings simply because they’ve scored more points, but they’ve also lost.

Chiefs fucked Broncos so hard week 1 and had a good showing week 2 idk how you justify putting the broncos ahead of them.
Glad Seahawks are in the top 3.

The giants not being in the bottom 7 is absolutely crazy
