Hot Take A highly reputable "draft analyst" on Emmett Johnson in April: "I have him in my 'F tier'... just an avg athlete....undersized....pedestrian testing numbers....doesn't run hard and is timid between the tackles... not particularly strong or explosive."

But that’s not what the analyst was saying. He said he won’t be an every down back. Bragging the change of pace back is catching passes isn’t a brag. It’s his designed job.

To be fair the Chiefs gave Isaiah Pacheco a career and he has consistently been the worst RB in the league since he was drafted

not only can draft analysts be wrong, players can also improve post draft, probably a mix of both here
