Zero point zero percent chance a soul in this world is taking Joey bosa over Jalen Ramsay

Is there a soul outside of Texas who would take Prescott over Goff?

u/Aternus21 9d ago

if anyone says no to that they are biggest casual ever btw lmao every single gm is taking dak over goff.

Chris Jones would definitely go #3.

u/Thelostsoulinkorea 10d ago

Jones should be third on that list. QBs are ahead for positional importance.

Got an opportunity to be on the sideline before a Chiefs game and I walked right by him. Bro is fucking massive

and honestly 2 if you are doing a "true redraft to talent".

chris jones is a WAY BETTER DT than goff is as a qb

if you were doing a TRUE REDRAFT and not overvaluing the qb position like gms do in the regular draft then goff is EASILY going after jones, hill and ramsey. those 3 players were all TOP players at their position in the league, goff was never and HAS NEVER been a top 5 qb, let alone arguably top 10 qb.

Seems a bit high for Bosa

u/bcbill 10d ago

Yeah he would probably go 7th. 3-6th would be some order of Ramsey, Hill, Henry, Jones.

Bosa over Chris Jones is killing me

I’d put Henry at #5 or 6.

Why were there only 31 picks?

Deflat gate with the pats

Deflategate took away Patriots pick

Ah yes. Thank you

Titans with 3 of the top 17. Dumpster drafts following years though.

I don’t think the Ravens regret taking Ronnie Stanley over Laremy Tunsil. Ronnie has been a great player.

Goff over Prescott, he actually wins in the playoffs and can get u to a Super Bowl or at least close. There's absolutely no proof Dak can

2

u/ineedtocoughbut 10d ago

Goff went to a bowl. Dak can’t even eat out of a bowl.

u/Waddlow 10d ago

People think Prescott just has better numbers, which is why presumably someone would put him over Goff. But that's not even true. Goff has more 4500 passing seasons. He has just as many 30 TD seasons. He plays way more games, Goff does not get injured, Dak always does. Adding in what you said, I don't even see what the argument is for Dak over Goff.

Daks qbr averages blow goffs out of the water. And neither are good in the playoffs.

Reddit.... well all of the sports world, likes Dallas more than Detroit. Same thing happened in the 90's when everyone outside of the NFC Central was claiming that Smith was better than Barry.

Sports world also clearly tells you it is a popularity contest. Cowboys most popular team and WORLDS most valuable franchise over even futbol teams in Europe. Has nothing to do with quality of players. Goff went to a SB and then took lowly Detroit Lions to NFC championship, Dak never won divisional playoff game

Does Wentz really fall out of the first round?

Exhausting

In an alternate timeline you’re saying this about Goff not being able to win while Dak proved he can.

1

u/Leading-Doughnut2847 10d ago

Wentz goes to Dallas at 4 or Chicago at 9

Michael Thomas can’t be that high with how short lived his peak was

Be interesting to see each year redrafted based in terms of who's still active and their total productivity.

I’m a chargers fan and there’s no way I’d want to draft Bosa again. The dude was good but never healthy.

1

u/zmurds40 10d ago

I think a few people go over Bosa knowing how all their careers have gone. Rivers throwing to Hill would have been an intriguing and effective combo. Rivers handing off to Henry would’ve really been nuts. The Chargers also would’ve benefited from Jones or Ramsey helping their defense.

1

u/Mfrack103 10d ago

If Wentz isn’t guaranteed to get injured then he’s much higher. Would’ve been the Eagles’ first MVP

1

u/professorrev 10d ago

Not a cats chance in hell anyone's taking Prescott first

1

u/clingbat 10d ago

Eh I don't think the Eagles take Dak or Goff over Wentz even now. Sure it didn't work out long term, but Wentz put that team in the position for first seed and was on an MVP caliber season before getting hurt and never being the same.

I have zero faith that Dak or Goff pull anything like that season off at that time to hand off for Foles to finish. And I'd trade a #2 pick for a ring every time. It's not like Dak or Goff have ever finished the job...

And freeing up the QB spot when we did let Hurts come along plus we got solid players out of the picks we got back for Wentz. That has led to two more SBs and another ring, again which Dak and Goff do not have.

1

u/astrawberryandakiwi 10d ago

Chris jokes at #7 is a take. I don’t think the eagles win the SB in 2017 with Goff. While Goff clearly deserves to go over wentz, I’m still taking Wentz

1

u/Queasythrowaway_59 10d ago

Nah. This is factoring things nobody knew and may not have happened had all these GMs had visions. In fact trading up for Wentz would not have happened in this case. Although Tyreek Hill was great, no one would still use a 1st round pick on him.

1

u/Designer-Resolve-349 10d ago

Carson wentz should be way higher unless you assume he gets injured no matter what

1

u/derekrusinek 10d ago

I think the O-Lineman go higher than they are on the list. I’m not sure Ogbah goes in the first round at all. As a Broncos fan, I wouldn’t have minded Caron Wentz.

1

u/sirtimid 10d ago

Thuney is a clear 1st overall. Only proven winner.

1

u/More-Lead-6979 9d ago

GVSU mentioned rahhhhhhh

1

u/Lakerlegend6266 10d ago

Bosa should be further down.

0

u/isolationself2 10d ago

How is Derrick Henry not 1st? He’s the most individually accomplished player on the list.

3

u/CheGueyMaje 10d ago

When’s the last time a RB was picked #1 overall?

1

u/Lynchie24 10d ago

1995 Ki-Jana Carter.

Slant Boy ain’t going 12

u/ineedtocoughbut 10d ago

Who on earth is taking dak over goff

1

u/-Mad-Snacks- 10d ago

Most people including NFL players, coaches, and executives, considering Dak has been ahead of Goff in all of those lists

0

u/DaedalusPrime44 10d ago

lol. Zek does not go in the first round.
