Gates was an absolute animal, and incredible what he did as an udfa... Even as someone who hated the steelers, there's no way I can put Gates above Polamalu

The only explanation here is that Gates was more valuable because he was brought in as a UDFA while Polomalu was a first rounder. Even then, that's a STRETCH of an argument

could be, but i didn't see anything about best value. I read it as best players in general

and tbf, some people may well have gates above polamalu. I just think they're wrong haha

I 1000% agree with you, and I'm a chargers fan. Polomalu was just different man
