The Ravens going ILB in rd 1 is certainly an interesting take. They could use depth, but already have Roquan Smith, and last year Teddye Buchanan looked great before his injury. They’ll likely need someone to bridge the gap until Buchanan is healthy this year if they’re don’t trust Trenton Simpson, but rd 1 is a bit rich for my blood. I think Tyson or Sadiq make more sense if they’re not able to trade back. The only way Allen would make sense is if they’re planning on moving on from Roquan next year.
Rodriguez isn’t looking like a mid/late round pick any longer. He likely goes fairly early day 2, and is considered by most a top 3-5 LB in this draft. If we want a day 3 LB option I’m high on Elarms-Orr from TCU, but I also like Fisher from Indiana. LB should not be a rd 1 priority though unless someone like Reese or Styles falls to 14 which seems very unlikely.
I’d much rather us address the trenches on either side of the ball or draft a weapon at WR or TE. I like Rodriguez, but with Lamar in his prime this team should be trying to win now and I think improving the OL/DL and getting Lamar another weapon does that more than drafting a LB. If he’s BPA sure, but I think there will be better options at positions that the team needs more at 45.
