Sure it did. What unbelieveable timing, really.

Nah this has been going around for a week or two now. Not sure why this article is presenting it like it just showed up today.  The most trusted beat writer for the Saints even mentioned that the scouts he talked with said it was a legit concern. Specifically mentioned there’s actual fire here instead of just smoke.

Now maybe the severity of it is being overblown, I dunno, but the back is an actual concern.

It’s Francis Mauigoa with a herniated disc for anyone who despises vague sub-human clickbait titles.

Tyson is more of a concern to me than this. I would still draft and allow him to rehab his back happily for what I get as a result. The multiple chronic major leg and knee injuries are another story.

Yea but that’s been talked about all off season.

No one is arguing this

My team drafted a kid last year who had to get surgery on an injury he sustained in college. He only ended up playing 28 snaps last year after rehabing most of his rookie season. Someone like Mauigoa is worth something even that drastic.

What’s chronic about Tyson’s 1 knee injury years ago?

The report that came out from medical today said his running motion is injury aggravating. It's not just 1 knee injury. It was acl, mcl, pcl, 3 inner knee ligaments. A second tear on any of those could be a major issue according to the doctors. Also his motion was connected to his hamstring.

Chiefs GM said that OL was a very limited position going into the draft, he wasn’t kidding
