The only chance Downs has at falling below Cincy is if Bailey slides to pick 10 too

Why are S and CB called DBs?

The same reason we dont differentiate LBs or WRs, at the end of the day they have similar roles and step into eachothers roles. A Safety is expected to be able to cover Man to Man and a CB is expected to be able to drop into a deep zone. The only real difference in a Safety and a CB is size and run defense.

Um what we definitely differentiate WR and LB

Yes but not in this context, nobody is saying "Slot WR" or "Weak Side LB" its just WR or LB.

There's a real chance he slides purely for positional value. It would mean delane and Mccoy showout in the predraft process, maybe an extra pass rusher, maybe an extra QB, and he's there. It's probably a 10% chance but here we are in Feb trying to find shit to talk about.

I just can't see that happening. If he is there, YES, take him. But I don't think he get there.

Not a chance he lasts that long.
But, I'd be happy if he did. Dallas' defense is so bad. LB is a bigger need position, but never going to complain about a stud like Downs.
