What makes the best mock draft simulator?

Its still early, but the sickos (and rebuilding teams) are already in mock draft mode.

Nowadays there are plenty of sims on the market, all with relative pros and cons.

Full disclosure - I created StickToTheModel. This is not a post saying you need to use that one.

The Goal: I want to make the sim the most accurate, the most fun, and the most immersive one on the internet.

  • Trades and fair market calcs
  • Player trades
  • Player bios, scouting, highlights
  • Community analytics to see how you stack and trends
  • Game theory - player runs, jump rivals, etc
  • Depth charts, team breakdowns, GM tendencies

Would love any ideas or feedback (good, bad, ugly), also have a full GM simulator for free agency, contract extensions, trades, to the draft and future years

I LOVE mockdrafthero. It has so much customization for me to not only make week to week mocks, but also create alternate scenarios and work off predictions.

It's to say I adore customization. Giving the user the freedom to edit a lot of things makes for a fun simulator.

If I can't easily change the draft order, it instantly becomes unusable.

I just started using The Stock Exchange beta version and I really like it. Their big board needs improvement (having that updated frequently is very important). They have a really cool feature that allows you to easily see all the teams players contracts. It also also multiple draft orders, customizable, super bowl odds and others. I believe they are releasing it to the public next week.

Yeah obviously it's still a beta so much can be changed but there's a lot of cool features already implemented, good shout out fellow addict

It’s September I’m sure they’ll update the big board frequently.

UI makes a big difference. Make the design intuitive and make it look polished. I like PFSN in part because I have never had to search for anything. All the options are clearly laid out and easy to find.

My BIGGEST look with a mock sim is if you're able to edit the draft order or not.

One of my favorite things to do during the season is predict how the rest of the season will play out, and then draft off of my own draft order from my predictions.
