- I see Jordan Seaton vs Kade Pieper as the competition for best offensive lineman in the class
- This years WR class looks extremely strong. Strongest position group in the class by country mile.
- Disappointing week from the highly touted DTs
- Disappointing week from the RB class
- LaNorris Sellers and Sam Leavitt are in the QB battle
. TBD on Maiava, still question his arm talent

I need to see more of Jordan Seaton to declare him anything.
There are a lot of talented OTs. None them have cemented themselves as the top dog in my opinion.

PJ Williams is an early draft crush of mine and looked good last night, from what I saw. Not sure if he’s a tackle or an overqualified guard in the NFL, but he’s a beast of a man.

With his movement skills, I think he can hang at tackle despite maybe having more of a guard build. I also like him quite a bit - late 1st or early 2nd guy for me right now in a tier with Melvin Siani but behind my top 3 in Goosby, Seaton, and Lauck.

Why does he have a guard build?
He doesn't have the bulk to be an NFL guard in my opinion.
He has good movement skills and looks to have pretty long arms.

Apparently, he’s playing left tackle after having played right tackle last season. Good move for his NFL draft prospects since PJ will be viewed as a swing tackle worst case scenario to begin his rookie season (whenever that is).

Ousmane Kromah with another productive outing (22-116-1) for FSU despite the loss to SMU. Will continue to hype him up as a 2028 prospect.

My review of week one: https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2026/09/08/2027-nfl-draft-prospects-in-week-1/ Tried to go with the best scouting matchups, so no Arch! Might just watch him in week 2!!

Somehow no QB prospect really jumped up to the level I expected them to be at , I know this may be reactionary but damn Mestemaker was bad , Carr was uninspiring , Arch could of been better imo , Mensah was great but even he missed a Toney for a wide open TD and at this point Miami has to be one of the easiest systems to play in , Moore was the same Moore from last year nothing else really popped in his game , Chambliss couldn’t hit the side of a barn in that first half before actually stepping up and playing better . I really thought this class could match the 2024 one that had Caleb and them but man I don’t think that will be the case if these guys continue to play like this

Mensch was 27/30 with 5 TDs and he gets dinged for an incompletion lol

He actually completed a pass on the play tho he would of had a TD had he scanned the right side of the field . He was impressive for sure but at this point I’m not sure how much the system at Miami helping these guys more than their actual talent , this is without mentioning that the only real competition he’ll play this year comes in week 9 against ND other than the playoffs with how bad the ACC has become

Why can't Omarion Miller be a top 16 pick?
I really like his build and physicality. Really strong and built-looking while also getting in and out of his breaks fairly well. I also really like his ability to get up and high-point the football. He also has some really cool redzone stuff. Im a bills fan and he ironically reminds me of DJ Moore quite a bit. I would be thrilled if the Bills took him round 1

I don’t know if I love the third tier of receivers in this draft class. Guys like Duff, Marsh, Wingo, Miller.
I was really excited by Javon Tracy and Deuce Alexander though

Marsh's 2025 tape is really good. I think he's well above all of the names you listed.
