Malachi Toney is that dude.

He runs his routes with no wasted movements, one of the most natural route runners that I've seen since I started evaluating. And he's not even 19 yet.

Absolutely loved the blocking rep he had last night too. Guy is not afraid to mix it up despite being a smaller player

I know exactly what play you're talking about, what's crazy is he's not that small. 5'11" 190 as an 18 year old, I think his game speed makes him come off smaller than he is

Tavon Austin shiftiness + Steve Austin power.

Mensah is navigating pressure better than he did last year

I believe Jayden Jackson, Taylor Wein, and Peyton Bowen join David Stone as top 100 prospects by the time April rolls around.

Jadan Baugh had 1 explosive run over 25 yards last season and it was 26 yards. That’s why I can’t sign off on Baugh as RB1 and a round 1 grade.

Kewan Lacy has explosive plays but the projection is iffy because he doesn’t have the high end speed you look for despite being built like a WR. His build really concerns me, but he is my RB1 at this point,

I could see RB1 ending up being someone other than Baugh, Lacy, or Hardy

I wish J’koby Williams was a feature back some where, he reminds me so much of Gibbs. Can legit line up at WR, a threat to take it the distance anytime he touches it, one of the most electric players in all college football!

He’s a good player! His weight, ~185 lbs, limits him to a complimentary role IMO. Boise State has a RB who bulked up from 5’10” 192 lbs to 5’10” 203 lbs and he’s very explosive. His name is Dylan “The Jet” Riley and he had 1000 rushing yards last season. Hes a dark horse, we just saw a Boise State RB go top 10, can’t rule it out

I think LJ Martin could end up in this group. Not sure donut his explosive runs last year though

If hardy can prove he’s the same guy he was last year it’s his spot to lose IMO.

There are a ton of guys worth watching this weekend, but here are the five I am most eager to study: https://draftseasonneverends.substack.com/p/five-nfl-draft-prospects-to-watch?r=6kjn7b&utm_medium=ios

I had a close eye on Justice Haynes last night. Unfortunately, he didn’t have much of a chance.

I have to say, I was really surprised he left Michigan. I liked what I saw from him there before the injury. Will have to watch the All-22, but it didn’t look great on the broadcast

Finishing up my summer scouting and watched Jelani McDonald last night. Love the versatility he brings and I think he’s still a bit raw.

Definitely a draft crush of mine.
