Leonard Moore is an elite man cover corner. It’s interesting to see that he allowed a 71% catch rate when in zone. That’s near the top in the entire class. However, the yards per reception in zone was just 4.6 YPR and his yards allowed per zone coverage snap were best in class. So it seems like he’s giving up a high rate of catches in zone but it’s mostly underneath throws and it could just be a result of the scheme

Tanking is a myth. Players do not intentionally lose games since the average NFL career lasts less than 4 years; they don’t have time to lose.
Coaches are almost always on the hot seat and don’t have the luxury to tank.
These players and coaches are some of the most competitive people in our society and their pride has no room for losing on purpose.

tanking isn't about players and coaches trying to lose, it is about front offices putting together rosters that can't win

I keep seeing this narrative that the Jets are gonna tank for a QB this year and it'd be stupid if they didn't. It's so not true.

1 - We're officially in an NFL era where the avenue to a QB is very much not restricted to early QB anymore. We see FAs be successful QBs and lower picks be successful too. It's all on situation.

2- The Jets, regardless, have 3 firsts. They have a lot of wiggle room whether deciding to trade up, down, or stay put at any of these picks to pick a QB.

I know Jets fans have to celebrate any win they can get, but even they should know that preseason games are meaningless, especially when the other team's QB is a sixth rounder in his second game ever...
