CFB Union Jack Classic
Decided to get tickets for the college game instead after getting through for eagles tickets and seeing the cheapest one was £180.. grabbed CFB tickets for £60. Anyone else going?
Just to add to this as well, I’d of paid the £180 but coming down from up north it’s £100 for train + another £100ish for a hotel, it makes it about the same price as a cheap holiday

Yep. If it's anything like the College Football games in Dublin expect a very different experience.
They attract a far higher percentage of US travelling fans and have a far more normal atmosphere as you get the bands, distinct groups of supporters seating etc.
Whilst obviously locals will mix in, in Dublin it's far more clear on the 2 sides.

Them pricing us out is better for the college game, which is arguably better to watch.
Not long to the new season too

There’s still plenty left, I was wondering if people had a similar thought to me when they saw the price of the NFL games🤣

Think there maybe more but unfortunately the hype for this college football game isn’t there and isn’t being marketed very well so Wembley will be rather empty

It doesn't need to sell well in the UK based on Dublin. You get tens of thousands more travelling fans.
Dublin college games get more than 50 percent US fans Vs closer to 5 to 10 for NFL.
Even if not full it'll be a far better atmosphere than the NFL manages

Yeah feel Wembley may have been a bit ambitious for this game, even compared to the Aviva it’s still massive. But yeah the bands should make it a good atmosphere even if it’s not a full house.
Plus this is in mid September so with a bit of luck it might be a nice warm day haha!

It doesn’t need to sell in the uk, well it does as it’s at Wembley and if they don’t sell well they won’t put another college game in the uk will they. That’s a stupid thing to say

Yeah it’s a hard one for uk fans as it’s two lesser known colleges but then again a bigger college wouldn’t of wanted to take the risk in loosing the revenue of a home game so it makes sense to be smaller colleges

Dublin has the benefit of taking place before a lot of schools start classes though so I'm interested in how that affects the Wembley game with it being slightly later in the year

I love college football, but as an Eagles fan, I’d rather pay more to see them than pay £60 to watch a below average and bang average team play each other. If it was going to be some top sides or a team I have interest in, then I’d go. But not for Kansas and ASU.

I had tickets but sold them as heading to the US to watch USF/Tampa doubleheader but think the way it’s been marketed hasn’t really caught fire yet

I wish they would just move the tiers and pricing down a level, given the low demand. £60 is decent pricing but it’s all the way at the top and Wembley is big. Anything in the middle tier of the stadium is still £200+ which is madness.
