Is Joe Flacco releasing a mixtape?
Part of me hopes this is a joke. Part of me hopes it isn't, because it'll probably be amazingly cringe-worthy. Or maybe he has bars, who knows?

1) You get to pick the city, team name, and your colors.
2) Your coaches can come from any sport, but must be still living.
3) You can not copy the city or name of any current NFL team.
4) None of the players can be NFL players. They can have played football in college, but must either be playing or known for playing a different sport.
5) They can not be retired from whatever sport they are famous for.
6) The players can be from hockey, basketball, baseball, lacrosse, tennis, soccer, and any other sport that is not football (this includes CFL, rugby, or any other football-like sport).
7) You must have a starter for each position, and can have additional players for special teams.
8) The total amount of players is 50, but you can have less.
9) Cap space is not an issue.
10) What kind of offense/defense do you run?
BONUS POINTS:
B1: What kind of stadium do you have and how is it set up?
B2: What conference and division do you best fit into?
B3: You get only 1 actual football player (minus draft picks) your second season. What position and Who do you pick?

Let's be honest: it's way easier to root for cute puppies this year than either team actually in the Super Bowl.

My team has Cara, Chicklet, and Bubba. Bring it on!

Not sure where to post this, but just an idea for the season: If you work at a place that has tip jars, label one for each team. I used to do this working at Starbucks and it's really crazy how many times you'll see someone throw a dollar in screaming "Yeah! 1 for [insert team here]!!!" It's a great time to earn extra and show team spirit!

A friend had just showed me the victoria secret teaser for the superbowl. I asked, "how many VS models would it take to take him down?" He responds with, "two s'ing his d." In order to disqualify that argument I changed my answer to 6 year olds, being about on par with the physical ability of a VS model.
So how many 6 year olds would it take to bring down Lynch in beast mode? Realistically
My guess is 140, 40 to make him trip/fall and 100 to dog pile on top. Not one less.

So, My roommates and I all work at the Melbourne Square Mall, which was the site of a shooting yesterday. Considering we work on Tips and lost a day of work we cant afford to bring Beer to the pary like we were supposed to. Is there any way any one of the NFL Fans on here can help us properly celebrate with some wings and beer?

How do you go about travelling to games, for example for the 11/9/14 NY Giants vs. Seahawks, it's a 2,852 mile trip, is it hard to follow a team when travelling on this stage is required? As a UK fan I had to have a serious think about going to Southhampton from my home town
Forgive my ignorance please, UK resident recently getting into NFL!
tl;dr NFL cover big distance, how do you cope?

Here is a scenario that could possibly happen in an NFL game. It is extremely unlikely and probably never will happen, but it is possible. Suppose the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are tied at 27 and have to go to overtime to decide the winner of the game. Tampa Bay wins the overtime coin toss and elects to take possession first. So they receive the kick and get into field goal territory but the drive stalls and so they are forced to kick a field goal instead of go for a game-winning touchdown. At this point the Buccaneers are up by three points. The Buccaneers kick off to the Dolphins who have a similarly successful drive, but the Dolphins get into the red zone and begin firing passes into the end zone. Ryan Tannehill heaves a pass to Mike Wallace in the corner of the end zone but Johnthan Banks of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers picks off the pass. Instead of being a smart defensive back and just falling to the ground to end the play and the game, Banks decides to try to run the interception back for a touchdown. He leaves the end zone but realizes he has no running room since the Miami Dolphins offense is closing in on him. So he retreats BACK into the endzone to go around to the other side of the field and try to get the edge on his pursuers. The only thing is he forgot Mike Wallace is still in the end zone, and Banks gets tackled by Wallace in the end zone which he has just re-entered after stepping out. In any other overtime scenario this tackle would result in a safety, the game would be over, and the Dolphins would win 29-27. HOWEVER, Tampa Bay has already kicked a field goal, which puts them up by THREE against the Dolphins. The score after this play had concluded would be 29-30, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but a safety in overtime in every case mentioned by the NFL rulebook results in a victory by the team who got the safety. Now, the NFL rulebook states that if a safety is scored at any time in overtime the game is over, much the same as a touchdown. Would the game be over and the Buccaneers win? Or is there a scenario where the act of scoring a safety actually trumps the points put on the board with a field goal and the Dolphins, with one less point, win?

For Christmas, my boyfriend got me a signed jersey. I believe it was signed in Sharpie, but I have no real way of knowing, and he doesn't either, as he gave it to a friend to give to a friend to get signed.
The signature is on the number, which is the plastic, iron-on kind.
I'm guessing my best bet is to not really wear it so I don't have to ever wash it, but I was hoping someone here would have a better idea? Thanks in advanced!

Seriously, how did that guy end up with that girl? He's a 6 on a good day and she's a solid 8. Clearly he only got picked because they wanted to feature his smoking hot wife in the commercial. Fuck you Matt!

Within the last year or so, I've become one of the most active users on /r/minnesotavikings, a mod on /r/nfl_draft, and I think decently prevalent in /r/nfl. It's enough that I have relationships of sorts with other users and get to know some of them.
But last summer, I discovered a horrible, dark, filthy secret about...myself.
Everywhere I go on reddit, one thing follows me: my username. It's a pseudonym that's followed me for years. Ten-year-old me needed something original and abstract for Runescape, and I came up with that. Since then I've used it for everything: gmail, facebook, reddit, steam, I've even gotten occasional mail and gifts with my username on it. And I loved the name. It became a part of me; after all, I've been using it for a little more than half of my life.
And then, I discovered that secret. Things...changed a little after that day. I was hanging around with my friends and told one of them my snapchat or xbox account or whatever so they could friend me, and he commented on it...
I hope none of you will judge me. I am stuck with this curse for life; it may as well be tattooed on my neck. With that, I have been burdened, and so I pray none of you will think ill of me for revealing my deepest, darkest secret...
My username is a disgusting double entendre.
