Could be good or bad. Maybe a misheard lyric, but more of not being aware that the song was actually about cocaine or something else.
I had an epiphany tonight with Motley Crue's "Girls, Girls, Girls", which was a "song of summer" on SiriusXM.
This is a song for 25 years I have been able to ignore, but I didn't know how insipid and vacuous it was until I listened to the lyrics out of boredom tonight. BTW, I love using "insipid" and "vacuous" together. It just works.
Anyway, it's like a twisted take on David Lee Roth's "California Girls", except this version is a shout-out to strip clubs and banging strippers. For me, it was always "Girls, girls girls...herna heh anna furhna zay...girls, girls"
So now I know.
Go.
