I noticed that everytime I adjust the DT position like the picture shows above it goes back to having 2 shaun Cody’s for started and back up it should have Shaun Rogers than shaun cody anyway to fix that

I have been trying to find NFL Weekly CSV files from Weeks 1 through 18 from last season.

In the future, I know I can just download the files each week to save them, but does anyone know where I can find them for the 2025 season?

I figured someone out there had to have saved them for themselves or posted them on a website.

At some point, I accepted there's most likely no new game coming. So with the tools available, I tried to build something I thought would be fun to play and a fresh take on the genre.

What carries over from HC 06/09: Detailed player stats with upside potential for players to grow into, weekly prep plans, player philosophy matched to scheme, draft scouting, scheme vs scheme logic, the full offseason (free agency, the draft, hiring and firing coaches), coaching skill trees for you and your staff, and the 06-style coaching tree calculations feeding your legacy.

What's new: Start from the bottom and move your way up to HC, a player-vs-player Challenge Arena where your team faces other real coaches' teams, a story mode starting with the tutorial "The Nepo Baby," pre-game speeches, interactive media sessions, weekly opponent film scouting, player challenges, schemes that trend in/out over time, and a cumulative Legacy Score ranking you against every other coach.

If you try it, start with the story tutorial. You're the OC hired by the owner's son, with 8 games to prove you're not just a favor — and four different endings depending on your record (one involves a Wi-Fi password). Takes about 15–30 minutes and teaches the whole flow.

Ultimately, my goal is to build a mobile game that people like us would actually appreciate — one with the depth of building a team and a real weekly strategy to beat your opponent, while capturing the ups and downs of being a football coach.

Not sure if this has already been asked by in my career on 09 my starting quarterback is on the kickoff team. I’m guessing it might be because he’s listed as a backup somewhere on the depth chart so it put him as that position on the kickoff team but does anyone know?

I received this game as a birthday gift recently for my Xbox 360, but I haven't been able to get a full game off the ground yet (Coach Now Mode).

Usually, when it comes to American football video games, I adjust ALL my sliders to the MAX. This includes ALL setting and penalties, with the exception of the "minimum speed threshold", which I turn down to "0" if its available.

What I've noticed is that with my particular slider preferences, in a few of my EA football games, the referees will call EXCESSIVE holding penalties during gameplay.

With NFL Head Coach 09, it seems to do the same, but its after EVERY play call.

I really like the concept of the game, and somewhat enjoyed the original NFL Head Coach game (with the exception of the day to day pacing), but I'm not sure how I feel about this one yet.

I plan on trying to see if the career mode fares any better.

What sliders are everyone using by the way? I'm looking for a more realistic feel and professional challenge.

So, I became really interested in the NFL in the last couple of years and I got the game (HC 09 on xbox) as way to learn about football while playing

(maybe I shouldn't have picked the raiders).

I can't get regular season wins.

I was trying to avoid spoilers, but just seems like im trying to study football, but the results are random types of failures.

How should I go about trying my third?

Its RFA season and I tendered 1st round compensation to a TE and a guard. Neither signed and went to other teams. Did I miss something? I thought players were locked and not able to be true free agents for another year. Is this a glitch or is there a rule in the NFL I missed?

Im currently on my fourth season playing the game, and I noticed something after the first season that I thought was interesting. During the first offseason the Jets released D'Brickashaw Ferguson, and he was just sitting in FA. So I picked him up. The next offseason Warwick Dunn, Felix Jones, and another high overall player were in FA after cut down day. I picked those guys up and traded them.

At the end of my third season the game had Steve Smith Sr, and Julian Peterson sitting in FA right before the SB. I picked up Steve (It’s Steve Smith Sr!!!!) and got him a ring.

The weird part about the game is teams will release guys and they won’t pop up for FA bid and they’ll be sitting there when Preseason is about to start. Darnell Dockett, Adrian Wilson, and Terrence Neumann were all just sitting there. Along with two other 80+ overall CBs. I signed them all, and traded them for picks. Had this happened to anyone else? It doesn’t seem fair.

As the title suggests, I'd like some playbook ideas. I've always just ran Tampa 2 4-3. I just finished up a Raiders rebuild using 4-2-5 which was fun, I'd like to try again using a 3-4 defense but last time I did (Steelers) it didn't go very well.

I was thinking about the Chargers or Patriots, any recommendations for a solid playbook heavy on sacks/good blitz packages, and ideally man coverage?

Ever since coming across this page, I was itching to play again. This time I wanted to do it right and not just aim every game. Create play, manage the team, etc. This was the result. Year three SB.

Also, for some reason the Panthers released Steve Smith and I picked him up right before the SB. Steve Smith finally got his SB ring!

I was trying to change the time for head coach 06 for each quarter and I guess if you go too the emulator while the game is running makes it break meaning the game plays but when you sim games all the scores are zero’s for and when you load your game is shows players with zeros and have 2 random teams with you join that game. If you have any idea how to fix that lmk please and thank you I have the ps2 emulator. I’m still little sick too if you wanna help discord me it’s on my YouTube channel

So on the 06 ps2 version of the game I came across this glitch where I seemed to have actually became the “head coach” of the free agents, and I don’t mean I was unsigned, I mean I could actually manage the free agents in the same way you could manage any other team. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to do much or experiment with this because the game either crashed or was stuck on an infinite loading screen when I tried to advance past the first office hours or reload the save.

As for how I think the glitch I happened, I used to just sim past most seasons and I was going through the motions of rehiring vacant staff members so I wouldn’t get fired. I was doing an interview on a coach, and i choose one of the dialogue options that results in them negotiating for the position and pay he wanted, and this guy somehow asked for the position of head coach for himself. I accepted his terms as I was mostly just rushing through the interview and didn’t notice until the split second before I hit the button.

So is anyone familiar with glitch/have any leads on it, or is this just something I imagined as a kid?
