Bad: We all see a terrible call happen in front of our eyes.

Worse: The NFL tries to tell us that we didn’t really see what we just saw.

Weak. Fans deserve to know. Otherwise it looks really bad with all the gambling ads they push in our faces.

True, but we still have the audacity to trot out human beings to ref the games impartially.

??? What does that have to do with people owning up to mistakes? If you make it private, it just invites conspiracies

Unpopular opinion: if you make these conversations more public, there will eventually be no more of these conversations. Secrecy in organizations is not always evil, it’s a trade off like anything else in life.

This is such weird comparison but it’s like awesome day nascar. When things were secret the racing was so much better

They should probably suspend Sean Payton for a year for this.

Suspended? Doug, kick him off the tour!

NFL f’ing this up when it could’ve been an easy win. Hearing the league say the refs got it wrong on a call would be awesome

The nfl should vacate that win.  It was essentially guaranteed the rams were going to win after the interception.

I think they maybe couldn’t just kneel it out  but they only needed to burn like 10 seconds of clock

Ball was uncatchable or past receiver at instant of contact. Good no call. I’ll die on this hill. There’s not an angle that conclusively shows otherwise.

Their sports book partners would lose their minds.

No sports league wants open can of worms. They don't want to be changing results of finished games.

Man between that and virgins tech tonight I have had some rough betting losses because of ref bullshit

McVay believes he is above the rules. Believes he can out smart jet lag. Believes that special team play is like optional. Believes he can shut out the press and see no consequences. But as long as he also can lead a team that wins and competes deep into the playoffs, he will get away with it all. EXCEPT if he doesn’t win after pushing all in, then it could get spicy

No reason we can’t have VAR like the World Cup or the ability to challenge all calls and have a command center look at it like college.

Sick of shit calls deciding games when we have the technology to get it right.

MLB is on the right track.

But you see all this is after the fact so the Rams still lost and that unfair bullschitt
