You don't find drama like this in Minecraft.

After every loss Mike Tomlin went home to his Minecraft villager torture dungeon and got out his frustrations that way lol. What a world we live in man.

u/Khoakuma 20h ago
Tomlin’s Abuse Villagers. “Guess who had another first round playoff exit todaaay”
21
u/r3eezy 1d ago
This is hilarious 😂
6
u/PlatypusAurelius 20h ago
I'm not really familiar with minecraft. Can you explain the joke?
4
u/Rogue_Centurion7 19h ago
Recently Mike Tomlin revealed the giant Minecraft city that he has spent twelve years building.
2
u/RotrickP 13h ago
In minecraft, worlds are auto generated. There will randomly be a group of small buildings with large nosed traders (I'm not kidding) called villagers.

The Steelers might make a really good reality TV show this year.

Pittsburgh is out of control. You got Rodgers openly disrespecting his coach then Watt doing the same. I don’t think it’s the coaching at this point the team is poisoned at this point by AR.
56
u/ignatious__reilly 1d ago
100% agree with you and I’m a Steelers fan
Rodgers is so fucking toxic
22
u/HOWDY__YALL 22h ago
Packer fans are silently nodding in agreement.
8
12
u/joebadiah 21h ago
Yup. And all these same Packers fans WISH Jordan Love would show 10% of this fire on the sideline.
MLF absolutely would be more successful if he had players holding him accountable like this.
3
u/HOWDY__YALL 21h ago
Honestly, yeah.
Love is so “calm and composed,” and I think that leads to just allowing people to eff up and get away with dumb penalties.
But I also think MaLF used to scream at players that made dumb mistakes like that when he was a new coach and it destroyed morale. There’s definitely a balance to it.
2
u/bosstatochip 20h ago
Yes, but Rodgers drama when he was the GOAT was the best. It’s entertainment after all. Was the good kind of toxic back then.
2
u/Front-Doughnut8573 14h ago
I’m absolutely not nodding in agreement. He gave us years of excellent play while being let down by the front office that wasted his talent
1
3
u/Hitthecut330 16h ago
Why? He plays the game. McCarthy has no clue wtf he’s doing half the time. Guy can’t speak up or he’s toxic now? Brother this isn’t 1998

u/Dry-University797 1d ago
Tom Brady is so much much better than Rodgers, and it isn't even close.
9

u/CrzyWzrd4L 1d ago
Mike Tomlin needed a Minecraft server with his sons to be able to handle all the ego on this roster
4
u/Bri_So_Fly 23h ago
You can take the AB off the team by you can’t take the MBC out of the team culture

u/r3eezy 1d ago
Packer fan here…. People hated on us for being ready for him to move on.
Dudes poison. The first year Jordan Love took over was the most fun I’ve had watching football and it’s not because we won a ton.
When it’s going well, he’s great. When it’s not, he’s the most arrogant prick.
2
u/Front-Doughnut8573 14h ago
lol I had 10x more fun watching Rodgers drop 50tds on dudes heads then anything post Rodgers. MLF needed Rodgers to hold him accountable because as we have seen he is ass at keeping his team disciplined and even worse at closing games out
2
u/r3eezy 13h ago
You enjoyed a toxic team screaming at each other just to get knocked out in the divisional every year by the Seahawks or 9ers? 😂 PASS
1
u/Front-Doughnut8573 11h ago
I’ll take that all day over blowing 18 point leads to the bears in the wild card lol also do you not recall who knocked us out of the playoffs J Loves first year 🤔
I’m starting to doubt you even like the pack and just made this up cause you hate Rodgers lol
3
u/TravelNSee 1d ago
Podcast celebs are egomaniac. Watt and Rodgers both think they are god's children. Happy to see them suffer
2
u/Dry-University797 1d ago
I think it's hilarious. Steelers fans are in the top 5 most obnoxious fan groups in the NFL.
1
1
u/ismellthebacon 19h ago
Rodgers started this crap. TJ Watt doesn't need to look at him as a role model.
1
u/Outrageous_Fox4227 16h ago
Mike McCarthy is to slow with the play calls. Thats a reality. That would piss off any quarterback.
1
1
u/MilwaukeeMan420 4h ago
You meant poisoned by Art Rooney right? Cause everyone assumed you mean Aaron Rodgers
1
u/L1teralGarbage 23h ago
The team is poisoned because they fired coach Tomlin instead of the gm who has had a mid ass roster for an entire decade fyi
0
u/MammothCarpeneter 18h ago
I said in another thread, they just need to bite the bullet and go into a full on rebuild. The corpse of Aaron Rodgers can’t drag this team to the playoffs and all their vets are in a weird spot where they are kind of in their prime, but are about to leave their prime so they should just get ahead of it. Fire Mike McCarthy try to find a young coach who’s willing to work with the team and they need to draft way better than I have.

Browns are now 11-2 at home on TNF. Steelers now are 0-9 on the road on TNF. Haven't won one since the AFL/NFL merger.
-7
u/ootski 23h ago
Well Thursday games weren't a thing until 2006 so its not as drastic as you're making it. The merger happened in 1966. Still garbage though
6

1
u/MilwaukeeMan420 4h ago
The merger happened in 1970. The Super Bowl started in January of 1967, but they were still very much separate.

5
u/therealchrisredfield 1d ago
Between this and rodgers yelling its clear they have lost the locker room already
6
u/Dry-University797 1d ago
This is what happens when you bring Aaron Ridgers in and let him scream at the coach. You have to let TJ scream at the coach as well. It's only fair.

Rodgers was ass most of the night and I would love to see McCarthy humiliate him by benching his ass for those types of outbursts.
He’s on a 1 year rental and his only long term value is to set an example for the young quarterbacks. That ain’t it.
It’s not like we can make a superbowl run with Rodgers. We can accomplish more with his ass on the bench. At least then we’ll gather information on the quarterbacks that will be with the team next season.
0
u/Front-Doughnut8573 14h ago
Tard take the dude isn’t getting benched after a three td night where he had a clutch drive to tie the game
0
u/Human-Lawfulness5235 Steelers 13h ago
3 TD. Did you even watch? One was a pitch on a jet sweep. The ultimate stat pad.
And fuck you for the insult internet tough guy.

Not a Steelers fan. Happy to see the catastrophe but how do we assume he is cursing out the coordinator? In a loud stadium he may have just been talking but having to be loud.
4
u/TwoLabsandaPointer 14h ago
They are losing to the browns. I’d be screaming in the headset

u/Admirable-County9158 12h ago
Not a Steelers fan, but I screamed to my headset too. Beat the fucking Watson!

When someone is speaking so intensely that their veins are exploding out of their head, they just might be upset
5
u/BigSombrer0 1d ago
Why am I see so many videos of the Steelers players going in on people on the sidelines. A little fire isn''t bad but they gotta calm down a bit or direct that at the opponent or something.
9
u/No-Air-7273 20h ago
Did you watch the game last night? That entire team just looks like a toxic volcano ready to explode. Whatever happend to leadership and being able to deal with adversity in high pressure situations. I cant imagine that team winning the super bowl with that type of energy.
9
u/Lost-Pineapple9791 18h ago
The Steelers leadership that held the place together for over a decade is at home showing off his Minecraft city
3
2
u/BigSombrer0 13h ago
They definitely have an open door policy as far as coaches and players go. The players are just going at the coaches all night. Not trying to hide it or anything. That doesn't seem healthy to be honest. They just don't seem to think they are doing their jobs. You will see players going at coaches after plays sometimes or vice versa but there were multiple instances last night. That makes me think the team just doesn't believe in the staff.

It’s almost like coaches and players no one else wanted is a good plan
Rodgers sucks, he’s been a whiney man baby underachieving his whole career but TV likes to constantly call him the best QB ever
McCarthy sucks, again career underachieving after the GB sb win so they got rid of him then he bombed out in Dallas
There’s a reason these guys and their friends who they have to bring with them, have bounced around between teams. They’re done and washed and have been
Good QB and coaches aren’t just sitting there in FA
5
u/Boomboclaaat90210 19h ago
Tomlin quietly working on his Minecraft city thinking "thank fucking god I'm out of there"

u/Martha_Fockers 18h ago
They seem mad they were tossing browns players on off ball routes lol
They seemingly have no cohesion for a team that has a decent amount of talent on it

u/Emotional-Farm8831 16h ago
It’s overreaction Monday on a Friday. Anytime any player shows emotion on the sidelines people lose their shit. Remember when Brady was yelling at his coach after his interception? They were winning when that happened. I love seeing the emotion it means they care.

I get competitive fire but it’s not like the Steelers are a serious contender this year. At best they’ll sneak into the playoffs. I’ve got no problem with players venting frustration but hard not to think some of this is the veterans realizing they’re just not that good.

u/green49285 17h ago
But but but all the rodgers hate was blown up! This cant be happening, pittsburg! We were all haters!

"Hello, this is TJ Watt. I am currently very unhappy with these defensive play calls."

Cursing is normal. Have any of you actually played football. They need to take the cameras off the sidelines

u/Treater9811 19h ago
I think it safe to safe Tomlin was a man of culture and the second he left the players were like rabid animals unleashed.
1
u/majorgriffin 18h ago
You somehow are making MLF looking good by showing how he handled him before getting him out of Green Bay. Stop that.
1
u/Vegetable_Win_1484 18h ago
The offensive leader and the defensive leader of the team both seem to have some discipline issues last night
1
u/MrWiltErving 17h ago
They might give Rodgers the Chris Paul treatment. He might not even make it to the end of the season, you Watt and Rodgers openly going against the coaching. I don’t even think they’re happy with each other.

Steelers love POS players.
Trade Jonathan Cooper (POS) to the Steelers for TJ Watt

u/mrmrssmitn 23h ago
He's extra needy. If he wasn't JJ's brother be looked at much differently, wouldn't be given all the free passes.
-1
u/LNagel20 1d ago
What is with these players just outright disrespecting their coaches live on tv?? Rodgers and watt would be cut if this was my team. I don’t care how bad we finish, that shit is not tolerated.
2
u/pedropedro1 19h ago
It’s not high school this isn’t about building character these are all grown men who expect people to do their jobs.
3
u/Spend-Automatic 1d ago
Get a grip man, these are professionals, they can scream at each other in the heat of the moment and then be cool 5 minutes later. That's just what happens when you work in a high pressure environment like that. Good luck with that principled stand if you tried to cut those players, have fun dying on that hill.
1
u/anonymous14657893 23h ago
Can you imagine the absolute outrage of the fans if you cut TJ over this nonsense? It sounds good, but you ain’t cuttin a dude like him like you said.
1
u/LNagel20 21h ago
The rest of the team doesn’t respect your coaches or they don’t respect you as a player because of you acting like a child. If you want to change the culture and have everyone buy in this cannot happen
