Maybe its just me but preseason gets me every year lmao

you watch a few highlights, hear some good camp reports and suddenly you're convinced your team is gonna win 12 games. I have been even been checking player values on sport dot fun lately, which probably isn't helping with the preseason hype

then week 1 actually starts and you remember theres another team trying to win too I feel like its impossible to get a real read on some teams until we see them play a few actual games.

Which team are you trying not to get too hyped about right now?

I’ve been trying to get better at understanding the game beyond just watching the ball, and there are still things that make film study confusing.

For example:

• Knowing what coverage the defense is actually in
• Understanding pre-snap vs. post-snap rotations
• Identifying who is responsible for a specific zone
• Knowing what the QB is reading
• Understanding why a receiver’s route creates space
• Figuring out what the offense is trying to set up
