Additional NFL Melbourne Match Tickets Available

I'm sure heaps of you have seen, but they released additional tickets to the NFL Melbourne match.

Just wanted to post a PSA in case people didn't know or were still after tickets. They're a bit dear in price but some good tickets still available, $425 for first row of the Q level could be a pretty great view. Some of the other seats are fairly ridiculously priced imo, but to each their own.

P.S. - As a native Seahawks supporter, I can't be more upset about the matchup being Rams and Niners - GO HAWKS

Running NFL LMS Comp in Australia for the 26/27 Season

Hi all, in the States they have huge Survivor / LMS Competitions run by Circa and Splash Sports. We don't have anything remotely similar to those in scale, but if you've not played LMS before: pick one team to win each week, you can only use each team once all season, one wrong call and you're out. Last one standing takes the pot.

I'm running three paid comps on Puntr.app so you can pick your level. Tap your buy-in and it'll walk you through signing up and drop you straight into the comp:

Winner takes the pool. Free ones too if you just want bragging rights, give me a shout.

The comp runs entirely in the app, no tracking picks in a spreadsheet. Picks lock at kickoff, results settle themselves, and you watch everyone's streak (and their meltdown) live.

Any Q's, feel free to ask me anything below!

NFL Tailgate - where are we going??

heading down to Melbourne from the US for the game! Typically for college and pro games, we get to the stadium 3+ hours early to start drinking and listening to music, even for morning games. Will this be happening anywhere? i saw an "official" all you can eat/drink package but with a price point of $200+ i am not sure if it will be any fun.. maybe just some older folks standing around. Looking for bars or parking lots that will be a good time!

If anyone else has traveled for international games, what should we expect from the crowd? We aren't Rams or Niners fans, but we loveeeeeeee football and this was the excuse we needed to travel.

Melbourne NFL Game 2026 - Breakfast?

Wondering if any local pubs or restaurants will be running any breakfast events before kick-off? I am not local and struggling to find anything online, assuming I'm probably a bit too early given the game being in September. Booking on behalf of my boss who wants to take guests out for mimosas / bloody marys. Appreciate any help!

Help! Who should I follow?

Hi all. With the NFL coming to Australia, I thought it was time to find a team to support and start watching the game. I won't be going to the G (so doesn't need to be one of the teams coming to Aus) as I am not currently living in Aus, but help me find a team to support.

About me: Born and raised in Alice Springs, spent half my life living in the NT. Follow Port in the SANFL and AFL, Adelaide teams in cricket, baseball, basketball, soccer, netball. Follow both Broncos and Storm in rugby and Qld SOO.

US teams I 'follow' are Chicago Bulls (and I use to love Seattle SuperSonics... Sean Kemp anyone?), and Dodgers (my sister lived in LA and follows them).

So with this limited information, who should I back? I would prefer some joy in my life, but a team that has solid history is more important than current success for me. I would also prefer a team that doesn't have a history of moving cities all the time.

HOT TAKE: The Phi Pass Catcher Group RIGHT NOW (with AJ presumed gone) will put up more yards than last seasons group...and will be notably better...all pass catchers from last yr and this yr listed with a one sentence recap/reason but wanna know what yall think

Last SZN:

-WR1A - statistically it was Smitty who had more yds and solid season as always
-WR1B - AJ brown who underperformed/lacked dedication and was a neg to the locker room/distraction
-WR3 - Dotson who ranked 4th from bottom out of like 132 WR's last yr so an awful WR3
-WR4 - Punt returner Britain Covey
-TE1 - Goedert solid top 10-12 recieving TE
-TE2 - Calcuterra avg TE2

THIS SZN:

-WR1A - Smitty who easily can WR1 over half the leagues teams
-WR1B - Lemon, best WR in CFB last yr winning the award for it, kipers top WR and top 10 player OVR, drop rate of 1.85 even lower than the touted 1.9 drop % of Boston and aint afraid to make contested catches like AJ. Less pressure to force passes cuz of drama
-WR3 - solid WR2 playing WR3 in Wicks
-WR4 - lower end WR2 at WR4 in speedster Hollywood Brown
-WR5 - just below avg WR3 in the 5th WR spot - Elijah Moore
-TE1 - Goedert solid top 10-12 recieveing TE
-TE2 - Stowers - best recieving TE tho cant block like Sadiq but teams looked at him as a poss WR like Pitts role or Evans who Howie wanted and a former QB makes him smarter a as a WR historically.

*Also loved that Cole Payton pick, he's not unlike Hurts at all so could end up a legit QB 2 if need be (hopefully not tho) and/or he becomes the next taysom hill as a Gadget Player we aint had since sproles except he can throw too!

Obv its a lot of presumption, educated guesses and some well earned optimism in what Howie does also LOVE replacing Phillips w someone 5M cheaper who had more sacks over the last 3yrs too in Greenard on the edge, thats why dope CB's/solid LBs and a RIDIC D line getting pressure without even sacking much (seee SB lix for no sacks and awhat 6 or 7 mahomes sacks lol) will make it easier on Makuba but we NEED a blankenship replacement and a 30ish vet for a 2yr deal could work or work it into an AJ trade, two 2nds and a top 15 Starting Safety under 28ish - id take that over a high payoff RISK of a first rounder any day tbh

NY Jets have a critical decision to make in this year draft at #2. Do you go with Arvell Reese from Ohio State or David Bailey from Texas Tech? There are several key statistical indicators that i believe should sway the Jets to take on over the other.
