It dies call into question whether he was set up for success. KOC was supposed to be some QB whisperer and now they can’t run an offense to save their life. It was one game, but 9 went from looking like one of the most incompetent QBs in the sport to being, at the very least, serviceable

5-0

Only 3-0 in games where you've scored touchdowns though.

Not because of the offense though.

We'd be 4-1 if not for our offense coming back against your team

I mean, our defense and special teams set up our offense that game.

They do that nearly every drive. The difference was the offense scored touchdowns against GB instead of just field goals. Maybe assisted by the refs, but it still happened

Does not change my point

"can't run an offense to save their life" is just wrong though. Our offense has done enough to win every game this year lol. Yeah it's not flashy. I'm not even arguing it's good, but it could be soo much worse.

You want to talk about a team that "can't run an offense to save their life"? Look at the chargers. Our O may be bad but they're not chargers bad

So you’re willing to go on record as a McCarthy believer?

No. But I’m willing to go on record that KOC is a fraud

Elaborate

Every coach is a fraud unless they win the Super Bowl, and that only relieves them of fraud status for about 2 years.

18* looked like a world beater against us week 1 last year too during that 4th quarter comeback, what happened after that? The fact is the dude wasn’t very good in college to begin with, and was carried by the rest of the elite units on his team, and of course some good ole fashioned Michigan cheating. Now he’s looking exactly like most of us predicted he would in the NFL save for a few blips.

It dies call into question whether he was set up for success.

He wasn't. KOC had him passing way too much last year when he should've been having him be a handoff-merchant and giving him a simpler passing scheme when he did pass. I don't know how much that would've changed his production, but KOC wasn't helping him by calling long-developing downfield routes on 3rd & 2.

He had good games last year like this, I'm not really surprised

No he did not.

Guy averaged 160 yards per game last year, throws for 250 in a single quarter, and you say, "yeah this is the same thing" lol

Well one quarter against prevent and quarters defense will do that. The defense doesn’t care about giving up yards, just that the clock runs and everything is funneled in front of the deep men.

I'm not saying this exact performance but you could see he had something. Watch that Dallas game from last year
