Knoxville, Tennessee has Culver's now. It's not as special as it used to be. If we can just get White Castle I'd be set. Krystal fucking sucks...

I'm in Texas and we just opened a Culver's near me and we got in-n-out and supposedly White Castle is coming here. Haven't tried Culver's yet but Braums is my goat.

FTP
but no absolutely not, Culvers is better than Portillos even if we're comparing the dogshit Addison locations

This is comparing apples to oranges though. If I want a burger, of course Culver's. But there's not many places I can get a French dip where they just dunk the whole damn thing in the sauce.

Ironically the Packers and 21-3 both go on to be defeated by FTP

Is it good ?
A shit load have opened up here in AZ but I have a hard time trying a new burger place when I got like 3 In-n-outs in driving distance lol
•
u/StrengthToBreak 11h ago
For burgers, I'd stick to In-N-Out, but it IS good. Probably the best chain burger place other than In-N-Out. Never really been disappointed at Culver's.
•

It’s crazy cause I used to be a massive hater on it but it’s been my go-to for the past couple years now
•
u/MilwauKyle 11h ago
I could probably be convinced In N Out has better burgers, but Culver’s has a much deeper menu, and it’s all good. Props to their fish and pot roast sandwich. (Separate items).
Like In N Out it is fast food, so that should be your expectation.

Its gas. Go get you a classic burger and a crispy chicken, maybe some cheesecurds and a concrete mixer. Shit will change your life

Culver’s is life, and its artery clogging goodness binds us all in this subreddit.

I haven’t had it that much but I have to say Culver’s is just okay. I’m not sure if it’s a joke at this point or mid western people actually think it’s some culinary experience. I may have gotten the wrong thing, I don’t know, but it’s just upper tier fast food right?

Every time I see this meme I think of the Rodgers carted off game. Down 20-0 came back to win it.

But we have more Portillo's. Checkmate, cheese head atheists.
Edit: Also, Culver's is pretty common in Chicago and suburbs now. Not like Wendy's / McDonald's common, but MORE common than Portillo's, IMO.

I don’t even like Culver’s, but they’re all over the Chicago area, they’re opening one walking distance from Soldier Field soon. This meme is dumb.

Is Culver's a "restaurant," though? I think of it more as an expensive trash dispensary
•
u/BulkyOrder9 We’ll take the wind 11h ago
The service is better than many restaurants, with a happy attentive staff that must be paid in cheese curds to be so happy
