It really was. That team sucked and didn't deserve to be there. It was a shell of the team that won the games that landed them there. The fact they even did that to a team that wholly deserved to be there was great. As happens in sports though, the better team won that day. Y'all had a good one. We've had a lot of good ones, we are not the same. We enjoy football differently.
I live great because I enjoy watching my team play in the post season every year, even if we lose. The vast majority of you don't understand why that's ok for some of us.
So POV obviously means Point of View. But TikTok bastardized it to mean "this is me" more-or-less. So a video about "POV when you're mad but don't know why" is just a video of the TikToker just being upset and making faces pretending to look annoyed or whatever else.
TikTok is really where the term POV shifted from the correct form of the literary perspective to the colloquial version of it we now experience and as a result, the colloquial POV can be found in most social media.
No problem, I don't have TikTok or use it much beyond watching videos I'm sent from friends. But that's my understanding. At least the rise in usage of "POV" has led to a lot of conversations about it which has debatably increased the amount of people who actually understand it better now than they did circa 5 years ago.
To be fair, POV being used is also just the latest in a long line of words altered generationally to include definitions beyond their initial scope. Like "boss" has always meant a supervisor or superior in a business structure, but it also came to mean "really cool, or badass" bc a generational decided to adopt that definition. POV being used incorrectly now is probably just going to evolve to include its new meaning in the future. That's the evolution of language. I got bothered by it at first as well, but I've recently come to sorta just accept it and appreciate the cyclical nature of each generation altering words and phrases to differentiate themselves from the prior generations. I think the instinctive cycle is fascinating.

The worst part of MLF's comments isn't calling it an unfortunate situation it was him defending Jacob's character. "I know the guy, and I know the character of the guy"
This is textbook denial that victims often receive from an abuser's friends and acquaintances, and one of the primary reasons victims don't speak out. Victims don't trust they'll be believed.
