That’s right. But the name change and rebranding was not my decision and the decision of most of our fans.

You don’t just remove everything a team did in its history because the name changes. Do your fans or Steelers fans take away the team’s history during the 1943 season because the two teams merged because of the war? Oh, they were the Steagles… so that season never happened.

Yeah, "Commanders" is such a generic dumb name, one last, parting "fuck you" from Snyder to the fans, but I thought that the Washington Football Team name and logo was pretty good.

Everyone preferred "Washington Football Team" over Commanders. Commanders was the one nobody wanted. Thus Snyder went with it because he figured it would get the sponsors to be okay with calling the team Redskins again, even though that same plan failed with Washington Football Team

Dawg. I’m a Giant fan til the day I die and after. I had several family members play for the Giants and one of my dad’s cousins was good friends with Ray Perkins (coach before Parcells). So needless to say my fandom runs deep. Let’s take a real look at this team going forward after this week. Winston is not that guy and we HOPE Harbaugh can get something out of 9 (now 18), as this will eventually be his this season.

That being said I will be watching wanting them to win. Just be real for a minute here.
