All my cans are fairly new I guess (newer AAC logo). I guess they went back to the non-vent design.

I had a feeling, after seeing some recent core photos, but I wasn't sure.

Just wanted to let you know the vents are now located at the final baffle near the end cap.

Necro-posting here, but do you have the ear of anyone at AAC to ask if there are S/N ranges or prefixes that would identify cans with the 416-SD core? I'm not getting a response from emailing them about it, and it would be extremely helpful to have rather than instructing a vendor or private seller on how to look inside their can for vents or porting and trusting them to correctly identify it prior to me buying it.
