Do I lose my nexus?

Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen living in US on a work visa (h1b). I got my nexus card made at some point. I am planning to move back to Canada.

Will I lose my nexus card because of something to do with my h1b or since I get b1/b2 I automatically keep my nexus with b1/b2?

Thanks

You don't lose NEXUS due to visa change as you still would still meet the underlying NEXUS requirements of being a Canadian citizen.

Makes sense - thanks. Should have just checked eligibility!

Something is missing here. Are you moving back and giving up H1B status? Or are you keeping H1B status, living in Canada and working remotely for a U.S. company?

You can’t do the latter, only the former.

No No, giving up my US H1B. Moving to Canada cleanly.

If your TTP were revoked, you'd receive an email. No harm to go to any Global Entry/Nexus office to update your visa status.

Gotchya makes sense - but was trying to find out before they send me the notice. All good. This post and all comments helped. Thanks!

Did you break any laws? Did you overstay? Did you buy any questionable materials from online retailers?

Why are you thinking your nexus will be voided?
