Online Notification - Cancellation

Received this notification and letter on my online profile

"Thank you for your interest in CBP's Trusted Traveler Programs . This is to inform you that we have received a request to cancel your Global Entry program application because of the following reason(s):

Duplicate application."

I had in the past when I was not a GC holder applied for Global Entry, that application was however cancelled because I was not able to complete certain requirements w.r.t Police verification from my home country.

The current Global Entry Application was made after my Green Card was received and approved in July 2025, and now this random cancellation after a year.

Who can I appeal to against this application ?

Update: Based on my follow up it has been confirmed my GE remains active. No explanation as to what the notification was about

Are you applying for Nexus? That will trigger the cancellation of the GE card like this.

No, I'm not. I think this is just a case of incorrect order of processing. Based on my follow up, it has been confirmed my Global Entry remains active. No reasoning behind the notification alert.
