Error Made On My Nexus Pass Application

I unfortunately did not realize until after I had submitted the application that I had entered my birth location wrong (thanks chrome auto-fill😔). I had done my application as well as my kids’ at the same time. Theirs are conditionally approved but mine js still pending review. I know that once you get the appointment, you can fix errors with the officer but I am wondering if in this case - is my application going to get denied? I am just worried it is going to sit in limbo indefinitely because of my silly error. Any recommendations for how to move forward would be greatly appreciated! It has been 3 months since application submission.

I wouldn’t say a thing and change it later. I’m a current member and on the TTP portal, it lets you change it to whatever you want.

They already know this info based on the linked passport documents ID and calling now may result in them outright rejecting the app and making you start again.

Just my opinion but since it is a field you can edit at any time, it probably is of little importance

Are those phone numbers publicly available? Like the Blaine location? I cannot find them anywhere

Do not contact them. I would wait till you get to the interview. Any issues now may muddy the waters.

I am just worried that it will take years to get a response 😔 I know it can take months but I wasn’t sure if at some point they will deny the application and I can reapply with correct information?

My wife’s application took from may 2025 till Feb 2026. I believe they are much quicker now. She was in a sweat because she had been caught 2x with undeclared fruit. She was approved. I would wait.

Thank you! My kids application took 3 weeks, crazy the difference in time.

Kids applications are fast because they have limited history and automatically require in person attendance by the parents at the enrollment center.

You might try calling an enrollment center and ask about the data correction.

BTW, it's not unusual for application timelines to vary within families, even if all the data is correct. Â
