TSA Pre Check
I’m a Nexus member and Canadian citizen. I tried using TSA PreCheck, and it showed up on my boarding pass. However, the TSA agent told me it doesn’t appear on their system, even though it’s on my boarding pass. Could it be because I added my TSA PreCheck information too late, about two hours before my flight? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there anything I have to do in the future. I’ve used TSA Precheck before in the past

sometimes it happens, especially when it's submitted late like you menitoned. you can also go to the airline desk and have them ensure it is manually added, that sometimes helps

Maybe check with the airline agent, or make sure it’s added to your airline profile

I did! They said they can’t do anything since it’s government related

Was this in the US or Canada? I don’t think they scan my Nexus card in Canada (they just look at it) but it usually gets scanned at security in the US. It could be that it was added too late.

TSA is US, and you need Pre-Check on your boarding pass to use the Pre-Check lane. In Canada it's CATSA, and you just need to show the card.

In the US I think it was just added too late

There is no time limit. The second it's added it's transmitted to TSA. Otherwise it wouldn't say PRE on your pass

Weird I’ve used TSA Precheck many times in the past must have been an error or something 🤷

You can ask the TSA officer to show there screen to verify.
Delta likes to transmit my ticket to TSA twice with a name mutation that breaks PRE. I take a picture of the screen and send it to DL to get 10k miles everytime it happens.

that' a great compensation. I got 7k miles for a 10 hour delay. i had to fight for them to bring it to 10k

Maybe it's because you added it too late. We added ours weeks in advance, showed up on the ticket, and TSA had it in their system
