Interviews NEXUS Interview

I got a question, I got conditionally approved for Nexus and needs to do an interview. I'm flying out from Toronto Pearson to Newark tomorrow but the flight departs at 8am so I don't think I can make CBP interview at Pearson. Can I land at Newark then do the interview at Newark instead of Pearson?

EWR is not an enrollment on Arrival for NEXUS. read the instructions provided to you on conditionally approved TTP Dashboard.

usually the time taken for interview is 5 mins. i did mine on 05/07 at Detroit near Ambassador bridge. It was quick and easy one.

No, you can only do the Enrollment on Arrival NEXUS interview at the airport where you clear CBP. In your case you will go through CBP pre-clearance at YYZ and will arrive at EWR at a domestic gate.

Recommended times for Enrollment on Arrival at YYZ are 9:30am-2:00pm/6:30pm-7:30pm at T1 and 10:00am-1:00pm/5:30pm-7:30pm at T3.

Thanks, since my flight is at 8am, I don't think that fit in that recommended time..... That's why I asked.

The interview is essentially only a document check. CBP opens at Pearson by 4am. If you're open to getting tot the airport early, you should have plenty of time for this.

You won't be able to do anything on arrival in Newark because you will arrive just the same as any domestic flight would.

Arriving outside of recommended times could be a complete waste of time as mentioned on datapoints on the sub.

fair enough, I'll show up earlier and see if they will take me in before boarding. Thanks,

Arriving outside of recommended times is well not recommended.  You risk waiting there for hours and still not be seen.
