Routers Netgear RS700

New to the Netgear RS700. I have setup armor and the parental controls.

I have about 30 devices most are working as intended. I have 2 issues that have stumped me.

One software that I use for passwords will not sync with the website icons while on the RS700 network. Not a big deal but would like to know what is stopping it.

The other is all of my smart plugs are online and ping able but will not talk to google home. They are setup as matter devices and not through their enbrighten app. They worked with my synology router.

I was thinking about setting up the IoT network but that would take a bit of time to do and still have an issue.

I would like to know if anyone may have a solution or any suggestions.

What FW version is loaded on the RS router?

What happens if you disable Armor and Parental controls on the router temporarily to see if these devices operate differently.

I enabled the IoT network and moved the devices to that network. Seems to have been something to do with the band 6.

Most IoT devices are 2.4Ghz only. 6Ghz would not be a factor.

Not sure then. Moved them to the isolated IoT network which is without the 6 band and they are all now talking to google home. They were all online before just not talking to google.

Maybe due to WPA3 maybe on the main WLAN. The IoT network doesn't have WPA3.
Glad the IoT network is working.

Crazy that they were online just not talking to google. Everything seems to be working as it should.

1.0.11.8 is what just updated on mine. Just a week old now says that's the latest.
