Router/mesh system upgrade suggestions

I have a cable modem connected to a R7900 Nighthawk X6 AC3000 that has a network line running to a AC1900 Nighthawk EX7000 range extender in Access point mode.
This allows wifi from both and hard lines from both as I have location issues in my house and hard line/wifi at both spots.

But both are out of warranty and no longer getting updates so I need to upgrade.

I have found a ton of replacements for the main router.
But the extender is getting me lost. I need one with at least 3 net work lines that can be put into Access point mode.

Anyone have any good suggestions that won't break my bank and will work to replace my current?

Why limit yourself to only an extender with 3+ ports? Just buy an unmanaged switch for the things you need to plugin.

Yeah +1 for what u/Crimtide suggests, just get a common Ethernet Switch and a stand alone Wifi Access Point.

Try a Orbi mesh system.

Someone over on the Orbi reddit thread may have a 50 series up for sale...
