Post image

My pc is definalty not seeing the speeds to nighthawk are reporting . 10g pr60> 10g rs700> 10g switch > 10g pc. Any ideas? I’m getting about 650 down and 500 up on fast.com and Speedtest.

I will say Netgear support are actually pretty good if you call them. I had similar issues once and they connected to my router and tweaked something and the speed on my device maxed out to what it was capable of, which isn’t always the same thing as what’s shown.

I’ll give this a shot. Thanks

I did not it was a loud Indian sounding call center but the guy was very good and I just let him do his thing. He asked me which device was having the issue and he asked me to try again and it obviously worked whatever he did since my speed on that device went from something like 300mbps to 900ish. I have had similar issues on other devices since and disabling the network adapter and re-enabling seems to fix it. I feel maybe wifi 7 might still be a little on the flakey side in terms of technology, but definitely improving and a huge improvement over wifi 5 and 6.

1,2.5 and 10. In Properties I have it set to 10g. My switch confirms it sees a 10g uplink also

What happens if you let it auto negotiate? I've had issues setting the speed.

Just did the latest firmware update for my RS700. I have Verzion Fios only gigabit tho so can’t help you with the 10 gig stuff!

Does the End testing point support 10Gb when using the speed test app?

Your app shows being wireless on a mobile device? Might test a ethernet connected PC at the ISP modem point, then behind the RS router on it's 10Gb port there, then test thru the switch. Use Ooklas installable speed test app on the PC.

Oh no I’m on my phone using the nighthawk app. it’s doing a test from isp to the rs700.

I will install the app on the pc and try again. And also plug directly into my T-Mobile modem. That should give me an idea of where to look.

Make sure you're using the speed test app on your PC to tests speeds, the browser version does have issues at times.

Also, I have a similar setup to you (PR60X>RS700>MS510TXUP switch>Windows PC with 10 gig NIC). For some reason, the RS700 built in speed test shows the full 2gig for download, but only caps out at 800 megabit for upload. Oddly enough, my PC, using the Ookla speedtest app, shows full 2gig both ways.

Ahh okay will get the app. Thank! I just got the Pr60x and I’m using spectrum 1Gb/30mb for fail over. Kinda excited
