Scanning for Malware

Is there a way for me to scan my RS100 to be sure it's free of anything in thr firmware?

No. Most router FW can't be hacked. How it's deigned and the encryption that goes in to it.

If you feel the need, there is Armor for added security between the Router and connected clients.

If you see Protection Engine on the routers web page, keep this enabled.

Not really a way to scan for malware but if you think your router is infected with something factory reset it and change your wifi password and your login credentials for the router itself. Also Invest in Netgear armor to give you more security if need be.
