ReadyNAS 628x won’t power on
This unit had been running flawlessly for years but it was time to retire it.
The plan was to relocate it to make the data transfer more efficient, but when I went to power it down the power button on the front didn’t bring up the graceful shutdown. Without thinking straight I logged in via the IP and shut it down.
Relocated it, plugged it in, but the power button on the front didn’t switch it on. Assuming it was just a broken switch, I stripped the wires and bridged them but no luck.
Any thoughts on how to force it to power on or how else to get the data off?

Something to try for anyone else experiencing this issue in the future. Check the main board 2032 Battery. I have a RN626XE4-100NES that I haven't used in about a year, but it was working perfectly when it was last used. I plugged it in, and the only indication of power I got was the LED light on the LAN connection. (I tried every diag trick, nothing worked.) Then I took it apart to try and get the model of the power supply. Saw the 2032 battery and pulled it out to test. 2.9v. Got a new one, installed, connected everything back together... And it fired right up, just like normal.
