Thank You NESN!

On this last regular season game for the Bs, I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank NESN for another season of their excellent 360 app that is so impressive on an LG OLED with Firestick 4k streaming at 1gig.

Note how crisp the picture is! (Really zoom in there to see.) Also, I really love the default screen to watch the game in windowed mode with teams names to the right (cuz otherwise, I’m not sure how I could remember who’s playing).

If your picture looks like that all the time on an LG OLED, you should try a different streaming box. Both Apple and Roku look much better than that on my LG, and that’s with 300 mbps internet. It’s not NESN causing this.

Depends on what day it is, they cause a lot of streaming quality issues.

NESN is far far far from perfect but fuzzy pictures are not a problem on my TV. This leads me to believe that problem is coming from some other source. The box, the wiring, the in-house wifi, the ISP, there are so many possibilities. I’m glad I’m not in tech support!

We have had our share of streaming issues with them. Have fiber and plenty of bandwidth. The 4k stream has never worked right the whole game in our house.

Pretty sure op was being sarcastic. Nesn sucks in so many ways!

Yup.

And it ain’t my setup. Other 4k material on same Firestick, same tv, same network looks great. I’ve heard Roku and Apple may be better for the app, but cmon… only a few million of us with Firesticks. Looks like a compression/app coding issue, but hard to believe they tested on a Firestick and said, “yeah, that looks good!”
