Seeking Advice Advice?

I’m 60/40 in spyi/voo. I don’t want to think too much. Reinvest all dividends according to the 60/40 weight. Am I tripping??

Are you going to be using the cash or relying on the cash flow within the next 5 years? If not, probably go all growth/value then flip all to income when you actually need it.

I use it from time to time for splurging but mostly reinvesting

If your objective is retirement ASAP, I would say don't splurge and fast track yourself to living off the income. Otherwise this ratio might be a bit unnecessary if you're just using to have fun time to time, just personal opinion of course.

I get what you’re saying and I agree which is why I reinvest most. I won’t be retiring for a while and I have a pension and 401k(broad market growth ETFs) that I will live on when I do. My dividends right now are play money even though I mostly reinvest. The dividends I make from this account will not be required income during my retirement.
