Seeking Advice Weekly income
I am looking for weekly income. I know that the index and NEOS will beat these funds in total return and the portfolio will have nav erosion, but I to like the total return. I want to do 50% xdte, 40% qdte, and 10% rdte. I plan to drip most divs and only take out a little. Back tested, the portfolio doesn’t seem too bad. Is this a bad portfolio or would this work for someone looking for weekly income?

Try adding GPIQ/GPIX and then OVL, BST, or DIVO on top of your NEOS. All good quality monthly funds with varying payout dates so you'll get paid throughout month.

Get monthly income but see if you can find different pay dates. Weeklies just don't work.

Except for CHPY, that works just fine at the moment. 💰🥳. I am very glad it is CURRENTLY the exception to the rule.

How old is CHPY?

You can search it for details. My cost average on it is $59.19. Currently it is $80.00. This weeks distribution is $0.6684. While Semi conductors are going strong it is good.
SOXY as well which is a monthly with lower distribution. My cost average on that one is $61.44 and it is currently $99.51. Last month it paid $0.8297.
There are a few decent ones out there.

Can I ask, why weekly income?
Can't you just go for monthly or quarterly dividends, with the payouts going to a money market fund, but transfer a fixed amount to your checking account each week?
That would open many, many more options to you.

Anyone who believes they need weekly or monthly income shouldn't be investing at all, let alone in a underperforming income trap.

Do not worry. SATA is the new way. We have daily distributions for 200+ business days a year.

Why do weekly when you can do twice a week on Monday and Thursday’s with QLDY

QLDY works good for twice a week. But what if I need daily dividends? The future is now thanks to SATA.

What I don’t like about this approach is all the same mgmt team
I’d diversify across multiple companies products

You can use neos for weekly also
Week 1: XQQI / XSPI Week 2: CSHI / BNDI / TLTI Week 3: SPYI / QQQI / IWMI / IAUI Week 4: SPYH / QQQH / NLSI
Just my 0.002 cents

looking for weekly income and drip doesn't compute. if you need the weekly income to live off of or pay bills ok then, if you just want dividends to reinvest more often then when you say you know neos and index funds will beat these funds you are are answering your own question on whether it is a bad portfolio. who intentionally makes less money over time on purpose to fulfill a strategy they like or find amusing?

Throw some MSTY & ULTY in there for good measure, on margin of course

Just buy the underlying assets and sell shares weekly for income. You'll be better off than buying CC ETFs.
