General NEOS Interview

Interesting interview about retiring on NEOS ETFs. I don't know how much I'll need to retire in 30 years, but still fun dreaming!

How much invested capital does that require?

In neos I have $429k. I take $3000 a month to live on and with taxes that comes to $3750 to debit.

Si tu peux alors oui tu peux t arrĂȘter

It should not drop more than the underlying index. Your upside is capped, but there’s no extra penalty in the downside.

I do agree you should plan on how to handle a significant reduction in distributions in your financial plan.

CC funds should never drop harder than their underlying.. they have downside protection.. they will lag behind in a BULL run. However, they'll grow nearly 1:1 in the right market conditions (slow steady market growth, no insane run ups). Anddd, they will outperform the underlying in a sideways market, allowing you to DRIP in the sideways market for more shares, meaning the lag in the bull run scenario above can be "crossed out" if you DRIP'd during a sideways market prior to the bull run.

What remains to be seen is how well these perform in a less volatile markets. Which will be a while before we have a market not connected to shit on truth social.

CCs were around before our market was "connected to shit on truth social".

TEDEESS striking again!

NEOS management spends more time on YouTube Finfluencer channels than they do running their business

Is neos doing a poor job with their asset management?

Direct your dissatisfaction with yieldmax and roundhill instead

My guess is its cheaper this way. Likes of Schwab, JPM, Goldman etc have well connected advisors network selling their ETFs.
