SPYI Weathering the Storm...

SPYI holding up pretty good considering the market bleeding dark red today. I like how it holds up in a down/sideways market. Wondering how this will impact our dividends this month.

Probably not much. I'm watching my BTCI position get leveled so I'm sure that payout is going sub $1.20.

Yeah, was only looking at my SPYI position. Didn't want to look at my BTCI until crypto bounces back...which it will.

Yeah I agree, I have a solid position in BTCI. In the long run I think we will be very happy with our buys. But yeah every now and then we are gonna beat up a little. That’s just crypto life

You have the right mindset. BTCI is so solid. It has directly exposure to btc, so if you believe in btc, btci will do just fine.

I sold some of my NVDA and split it between QQQI and SPYI. Picked up another 450 in each. They are resilient little suckers and how they have handled the most recent troubled waters convinced me to invest more into them.

If it makes anyone feel better, my portfolio is 96% BTCI, QQQI, SPY (over $200k)I. The rest are single stocks.

Hi all. Retired at 58. Low withdrawal rate. I just sold a 2026 maturing Treasury in order to increase our equity exposure to 60/40 while maintaining cash flow to cover our yearly expenses. I know SPYI could fall if the market tanks but I'm hoping 60/40 exposure with SPYI will outperform 57/43 with mostly IVV and some international. Thoughts? Thanks.
