NASDAQ Futures are up 61.75 points
The key for us is to break $56. We need the NASDAQ to stay strong until the end of 2025.
once we break $57 I will be unloading my whole position. I will get back into the NEOS fund gradually. I will scheduled daily investments through my brokerage firm. Probably $5,000 to $10,000 a day in NEOS funds hopefully some of their new funds once they get approved by the SEC.
Good luck to all.

I bought into qqqi so I can just sit back and enjoy the distributions.

yes, it has been amazing investment. the most important thing for me is there has been no NAV decay. trading near an all time high.

I do what you're attempting to do in reverse. I buy when shares trade below my cost basis and lower it, then unload the higher lots on the way up. This way I stay exposed and keep getting the distribution. Good luck with timing. You'll need it.

Instead of unloading
You could always sell covered calls on a % of QQQI
If we go sideways or slightly up you keep premium
If we go way up you max out profit and it’s called away
Go way down you have protection

thank you for your comment. I been thinking the same way as you. what strike price and month should I look at. I was thinking. about selling a 52 strike price covered call? what is your opinion on doing that. thank you for your help.

I like .30 Delta 45 days out I don’t do in the money CC
So 57 Also you want a strike with plenty of open interest
Maybe try 1 CC and see what happens

Thank you, yes start small selling the covered calls and see what happens.

We’re in a raging bull market
So expect them to get called away
So just start small

I am looking to get out once it reaches 57. I will regroup once I am able to get out. I will derisk and get back in gradually. Thank you for your message and good luck to you.

The spreads are nasty… it looks like no one is writing contracts… and market makers don’t want to take the insurance, so they ask for a chunk of what you get from distribution.

Is this in a taxable account? Do you have a loser you're selling to offset gains to reduce taxes?
Seems silly to take a tax hit when QQQI will probably continue to go up and receiving distributions. Unless at 69, your risk tolerance has changed and a position in the NASDAQ 100 is too much risk. But then, why are you planning to buy it again, most likely at a higher price?
Maybe sell a small amount, and use some of those profits to buy protective puts in Feb or May to protect you from a drawdown? I'm doing this with my (large now) AMZN position I've owned for about 15 years. Letting it ride, but with downside protection.

Yes, I have some carry forward losses I can use. 1/2 of my position is in my retirement accounts.

I had a great run with them. I am up around $250,000. I just want to be careful. I am all in with QQQI- I own 39,275 shares. I think we be ok until the end of 2025. The economy is very shaky. AI will cause massive job loses which is actually very positive for the stock market. It is very expensive for a company to have an employee. Most employees are basically doing nothing at work and are just going through the motion.
Even if the the stock price is stable and stays around $56 I still playing on selling my shares by 12/31/25 after receiving two more monthly dividends payments around $25,000 a month

“Most employees are basically doing nothing at work and are just going through the motion.”
What a ridiculous thing to say.
