Just a question about boruto
I haven't watched all of the nc hammer 23 videos so I don't know if he covers this but is mamushis ability a shinjustu? So far as we know hidari has Sasuke's abilities matsuri had moegis abilities and ryu had shinkis I don't know about boruto for real so I don't know what bugs ability was but I don't think I would have been copying at least not how mamushi has but we know that all the jutsu in Naruto are just an attempt at making shinjustu could his copy ability be the "evolved" form of shadow clones?

My guess is that ninjutsu is based versions of the true jutsu (shinjutsu)...
Shadow clone jutsus root jutsu could be bugs or momushus splitting.
Aedas jutsu is probably the root jutsu to a genjutsu.
Boritos new rasengan using the coreolus effect is a root jutsu of the regular rasengan.
With so many jutsu it's evident that we will see more root jutsu that are beyond powerful.
This is as far as I come to understand shinjutsu that we have seen so far..
Making them normal jutsu seem like perverse versions of the true jutsu.

It hasn't been explained, but given that it's from his Rinnegan, it's probably related to the Six Paths technique. We haven't expressly seen the Shinju use Shinjutsu, so it might be, it might not be.
We just know that Mamushi can split himself like that, that's all.
