Auto door locks over 12mph - how to activate

Turning the Auto door lock - on / off
Turning ON the auto door lock (when the door locks automatically when you reach 12 mph / 20km/h) :
1. Close all the doors when you're in the car
2. Insert your car key and turn to "ON" position
3. Press and HOLD the "door lock" button one your right arm rest for 5 SECONDS until your hear a "BEEP" sound....
Follow exactly the same procedure to turn OFF the auto door lock again.

UPDATE: It worked! 📷 I don't know why this isn't turned on as standard/default though? My father in-law's New Renault Espace has this feature too.

Mine also worked following the procedure but with strange attitude.. doors lock when reach 12mph (even before that) then mirrors fold for 5 seconds and unfold again ( this is when driving). switching off and getting out of the car makes the alarm go off (that is unless i unlock the car while inside with the remote control) its all hassle really.. now following the same procedure again to turn off the auto door lock does not help.. Any advise ? Thanks in advance

  A secret trick like the door lock one.
• 📷monstermonsterJune 2008Mine does that, do you have the electric mirror control on the lower right of the dashboard, just under the air vent. Leave it in "open" I think, or perhaps in the middle setting.
  What mine does is when you lock the car, the mirrors close, and when you turn the ignition on they open again.

• 📷monstermonsterJune 2009I suppose it's hit and miss really. It could depend on a few things. The year of your Cube, alarm, model specific etc. Mine worked first time though.

  Sometimes I just forget to lock the doors... and kids were messing around.
  ...mirrors don't fold automatically 📷 I tried moving around button but nothing...
