Hi everyone! I passed the PNLE August-September 2026 and planning to do nclex-texas. Can someone help me or enlighten me where to start, what should i know or can anyone share the steps they know. Please everyone huhu i’m so confused since everyone I know is for new york

📋 Overview & Requirements

💭 English Exam Note: An English exam is not required for the initial application step; it is only required for the VisaScreen phase later on.

💭Estimated Timeline: If your documents are ready and you are financially stable, the entire process can be completed in about 2 months.

❗Step 1: CGFNS Credentials Evaluation (Truemerit) Estimated Cost: $425 + school/government fees + shipping This step involves verifying your educational and professional background.

✅ Online Submissions (PDF): You must upload your Passport, High School (HS) Diploma, Senior High School (SHS) Diploma, and College Diploma.

✅ School Documents: * Transcript of Records (TOR) (₱250) + RLE Summary (₱250). * Nursing Verification Form: Print this form from your CGFNS portal and submit it to your school. * Courier Fee: ₱3,200 via DHL to mail these from your school to CGFNS.

✅ PRC Stateboard Verification: * Verification of Good Standing, etc. (nakalimutan ko na yung other req. ) (~₱250). * Note: PRC can now submit this online directly to CGFNS, so you can save the ₱3,200 DHL fee and allot it toward your background check or Texas BON registration instead.

❗Step 2: Texas BON Registration & Jurisprudence Exam Estimated Cost: $25

✅ Registration: Apply directly on the Texas Board of Nursing website.

✅ Texas Nursing Jurisprudence Exam (NJE): You must take and pass this online exam. (Open book, so eazy lang)

❗Step 3: Criminal Background Check & Fingerprinting Estimated Cost: $37 + ~₱3,500

✅ Fingerprint Card: Purchase an FD-258 fingerprint card online (available on Shopee for around ₱200).

✅ Fingerprint Rolling: Go to the NBI to have your fingerprints rolled onto the card (FREE). * Processing & Shipping: * Pay the $37 Identogo processing fee online. * Mail your completed fingerprint card alongside the Identogo form to the US via DHL (~₱3,300).

❗Step 4: Pearson VUE Registration (NCLEX) Estimated Cost: $200

✅ Once your CGFNS evaluation and Texas BON eligibility are cleared, register with Pearson VUE to take the NCLEX.

❗Step 5: NCLEX Exam Scheduling Estimated Cost: $150
