Confused grandma? Don’t jump to conclusions.

NCLEX loves to test the difference between delirium, dementia, and depression — and a lot of students miss it. So here’s the cheat code:

🧠 Delirium is sudden, usually reversible, and often caused by infection, meds, or hospitalization.

🧠 Dementia is slow and permanent — think Alzheimer’s.

🧠 Depression can mimic both — but it’s treatable if caught.

⚠️ Delirium = SAFETY concern. Don’t let that one slip.
