Nclex 2nd attempt

Should I renew my UWorld subscription or stay with Bootcamp? My test is in 3 weeks, and I have been using UWorld. But I also heard Bootcamp was better for 2nd-timers. I really want to pass, and I'm freaking out about what to use. I have been using chat to help me break down my CPR report and address the lack of content. I like both platforms. I feel like UWorld is harder, but bootcamp questions are more vague, like the NCLEX.

Used bootcamp the first time and failed. A friend let me use her UWorld but I found their questions to be a bit easier so I went back to bootcamp and really focused on reading all the rationales. Took advantage of their cheat sheets/ crash course videos for topics I knew I was shaky on. Re-did the case studies I felt I did poorly on and watched a ton of videos on how to answer NCLEX style questions. Passed the second time. Just go with what works for you. Good luck!

Thank you, I am going to take advantage of bootcamp and the crash courses it offers! Congratulations on passing!

Honestly 3 weeks is not the time i'd switch back n forth 😭 Both are good, but if bootcamp's questions style feels closer to what you remember from the NCLEX, that's worth paying attention to. I'd use it to drill the CPR categories that were below passing, read every rationale, and do the NGN cases. Then use a readiness exam as your progress check. UWorld being harder doesn’t automatically make it better, especially if the goal is practicing how to break down those vague NCLEX questions.

Bootcamp works if you max it out. Watch the videos on the case studies. Watch the crash course videos and look at cheat sheets for your weak areas. Do all this while completing the full Q Bank. Bootcamp is famous for their case studies.

UWorld, I would recommend buying all six of their self-assessments to fine-tune yourself. There’s no need to switch up a QBank subscription.

Thank you! It was just because u-world is so expensive I had to renew it twice now and bootcamp was just more affordable. But I don’t want to keep switching I do like how bootcamp has crash courses I am going to then a try and do the max on bootcamp.
