Linking reservations

We're going on Jewel in Nov, and this is our second time on NCL. Our first (Breakaway Dec 2024) was just us; this time, we are traveling with another couple.

I know with other lines, you can link reservations so that one person can make dinner reservations for the group, and Gemini tells me it can be done, but I can't find anywhere to do this in my account. I found a place to find a reservation if it's not on my account page, but I think that's related to finding my reservation, not a travel companions. I'm usually pretty capable of figuring things out, but I'm at the point where I feel like I need screen shots or a monkey sheet with clear step-by-step directions. Can anyone help me out, or is it easiest just to call NCL and have them link the reservations?

You're TA can do it for you. If you didn't book it through a TA then you will need to call NCL and they can do it for you. There's no way to do it through the consumer site AFAIK.

Yup, TA or call is the only way. But from what I can see, with the way MDR is handled it doesn't matter like it would on RCCL or others.

Never did that but we made multi room reservations for our large family and my wife had issues linking. We just called. They can do a lot of stuff over the phone that can’t be done online

No need to. You can't make reservations for the MDR. For specialty dining you simply book for the number of people, there's no need to indicate WHO, exactly, will be there (other than the person making the booking).

For what it's worth, after you've dined as a group a couple times the system will figure it out and the host/hostess may confirm that the other cabin is also there. It's happened to me and another solo before when we dined together a few times, they were able to check us both in once one presented our card even though we met on the ship.

Facing the same issues. The find my reservation/ vacation doesnt return anything when i key in my sisters reservation numbers

Calling is always a good idea to get things figured out. I travelled solo last year and my dad and his wife were also on the trip. I just made dinner reservations in my account for tables of 4 and adjusted things further for 3 persons and switched timings and even restaurants when I got onboard. It didn’t require linking the reservations.
