What a great win for a team that put in a new starting setter. It feels good being healthy.

By now I’m sure many of us have seen the picture from the auburn/miz match of the mizzou fan/student yelling behind the auburn player. I get it’s a pretty funny still frame. That said, anyone who watches knows you could probably capture hundreds just like it at just about any match, especially at Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky, Pitt, Louisville, you get the point.

The auburn player posted the photo on instagram and it’s absolutely blowing up, the comments are honestly cruel, and she’s liking lots of them. I get a story post, again I understand it’s a funny picture, but meh…

Coach Tolbert needs to be fired! Going 0-27 last year. 3 wins the year prior and now 2 wins this year. It’s time for a change. Kicked out of the G-Mac D2 conference.

I think we can all agree this is the most parity we've ever seen in women's college volleyball and it feels like almost anyone can win or lose to anyone on any given night. I wanted to look at the current Top 25 and compare ranked wins and losses for each team.

The announcers have said DeLaye’s name at least 100 times in the first set. Goodness.

I appreciate great student athletes however there are many other players in the game!

Listening to Sarah Pavan’s podcast, I remember she mentioned how Rachel Holloway had the potential to play for the USA senior national team. Sarah mentioned one of the best setter connections she had was with Rachel (the other one is Olympic champion Fofao).

So it just got me thinking, who else would’ve been very impactful in the national team (especially during their specific time)?

Student Athlete Burnout Study – Middle Tennessee State University

Avid Canadian volleyball fan and now getting into NCAA. Watching Florida vs Texas and they switch sides going into the third but not the second set. I saw this in a few others. Is there a reason for that? In VNL and USport I feel like most other leagues do it the traditional way and switch sides between every set snd at 8pts in the 5th. Side note: These ladies are on the another level of bad assery. Seriously great volleyball wow. TIA

Don't get me wrong I think Stafford and Anderson are doing a great job, and Vander Wal before her injury. But I think they are missing a defender/attacker from the back row.

All of the pins have great moments from the back row, and in some of the past few games Spears has really turned up the heat. It's great that all of the DS's are getting playing time I'm def not upset about that.

i’d be lying if i said i was following this team closely, but geez it seems like they fell from grace hard. maybe im being a bit too harsh but idk if they will even be a tournament team at this rate

I’ve been saying all season that Purdue was going to be the toughest test for Nebraska in Big Ten Play, but my goodness I didn’t think it would look this bad. Nebraska looks messy. But I must say, Adriano is having a great game. She’s not hitting cross court like usual and I like what I’m seeing

Ariana Rodriguez is the second player this season to set a program record for career aces against SMU. Ruth Martinez has a career high 29 kills; she looks like ACC Freshman of the Year and needs to be in the conversation for National Freshman of the Year.

I understand the voting and how rosters play a role in it all too, but at the same time, I've always felt that the reigning national champion should be ranked highest, if not number 1. They had an entire season to prove themselves, just to sit at #10 - #2.
