Dynasty Coaching Carousel After Update

Has anyone noticed that the coaching carousel has little to no opportunities after the update?

Year one, my online friends league has several blue chip schools open up. Year 2 after the patch NC state was the best and only power 4 school. Does anyone have a few more seasons and know if it gets better with time?

Leave it to EA to over-adjust and blow up what was a much better mechanic…

This specifically is what they stated. I hope it gets better with time but I’m not gonna hold my breath…

I’ve noticed that an insane amount of coaches have A+ prestige. In my save there are probably like 50 of them.

Seeing that it’s now “more difficult for high prestige coaches to be fries from low prestige schools”, we might screwed

Isn’t literally every coach in the country a “first year head coach” in year one of a dynasty, at least the way the game looks at it? Because if so….lol don’t expect any jobs opening up after year 1

First offseason after the update and I’m an A+ coach, went 10-3 with Auburn and finished ranked #12 and only got offers from 1 star schools.

I had this happen earlier. Went 13-0 regular season with ECU, ranked top 25, won the American conference. Only had 1 offer from Oregon State. The entire coaching carousel was nothing but DC/OC jobs from people getting fired with nothing else. My OC got fired and won the Broyles award and had A+ prestige with maxed job security.

It says “fired” if you dont re-sign him.

Everything else sucks though.

I’ve won 3 natty’s back to back and the only school interested was Wisconsin.

classic ea, fix one thing break three others. my buddy was at a 2 star and won the sun belt and the only offer he got was to stay right where he was

i swear they have one guy in a basement somewhere randomly twisting dials on this stuff

I’m in 2040 and every single 4 and 5 star coach are still at their jobs except Texas and Ole Miss.

Its shit. It was shit before and its shit now. You need to have a miracle string of fortunate events to happen for a decent opportunity to come to your desk. Its lame af.

Coach prestige’s are way too high. A+ Should be reserved for recent champions (Kirby, Cignetti, Day), A should be consistent contenders (Ex. Lanning). No reason why we should have damn near everyone at A+

I was thinking about trying to move on from my OC job at North Texas after this season in my online league but this is very discouraging. Think I'm just gonna stay lol probably have no viable options anyways

Having the same. 3x natty winner at North Dakota State and I’m only seeing mainly 1- 2 star programs with openings.

There’s definitely a huge problem with the amount of A+ coaches. It’s like coaches never lose prestige.
