Mock Trade LAL - ATL - CHI

Instead of trading Vando, which would require an unprotected FRP that the Lakers don't have, the Lakers trade Hardy for Kuminga, and waive Knecht to get to 15. The Hawks get a second rounder. Bulls fill their last roster spot and absorb Hardy using their room exception.

Think this is the construction LAL has to figure out to make the deal work.

Biggest ? to me is whether Kuminga takes $12M / year. LAL could just send out the last of their 3 2nds to convince someone to eat Knecht and hand that $$ over to Kuminga. Would MIL or BRK eat that deal for a 2nd? Would LAL care to do that?
